There used to be several people in the 70's and 80's who we all over commercials, like the late Don Resin(Ty-D-Bol, Miracle Whip)the the guy who started as Big Fig. I didn't notice how all over the place Jason Alexander was.
aand the guy asking where the onions are was in crocodile dundee, at the end when mick is all the way across the sea of people, he's one of the message relay guys wearing the hard hat...yes i have a life.
Wow George (Jason Alexander) did a lot of 80's commercials. There's another one from McDonalds. He always had a talent for comedy and looked like he could be on a show like Tom Hanks' Bosom Buddies. He always had the sitcom star thing going on. He worked hard to get to be on Seinfeld in the 90s.
Jason Alexander is such a cutie! I don't know about the rest of you - I think he is sexy as hell. I think he is really nice looking and seems really nice too.
Crap...I actually remember this commercial and I haven't seen it since the early 80s. Isn't it freaky how you can completely put something trivial out of your mind for decades, but it's still hovering below the surface, never truly forgotten?
Besides the grilled hamburger meat being the best actor in the commercial, why is it that the emphysema lady at the end just accepts the fact that the onions are inside if she doesn't see them? Why doesn't she confront Joe like the guy with a rubber neck did? Jason Alexander's oven mitt is on the wrong hand.
I can't believe someone actually put this commercial on here? My dad and I used to goof on the lady who says, "We made it with Lipton Onion Soup Mix." She has no f*n lips!
Oh man i remember this commercial. I even ask my mom to buy that stuff to make onion burgers but she never did it stayed on our shelf for a long time.
why not put actual onions in the burger instead of the lipton soup mix. I can't believe they tried to sell that. Alexander does play a great burger grill man
Hey burger, the farmers called, they're running out of onions!

Onions in the burger? Who puts onions in their burger? (as george would say)

There's no onions because George accidentally ate them, thinking they were apple's.

Nobody's asking "Where's the cheese, tomatoes, ketchup, mustard, lettuce, etc.?". Apparently onions were more popular in 1984.
