@Nutintoitbut2doit Nah buddy, I live in canada. I used to work in a place called skymark, later bought out by johsnon controls. We built york rooftops, ptacs, and skypacs. This was before I went and got my trade certificate.
@freonfreak65 LOL that was not how i wanted to spend my sat. Some body thought they could fix it and layed the door down on the roof and it slid down from what the guys wife told me after he left lol.
@MrTERRYD55 Hi Terry, are you talking about the ecm? Those repairs are not cheep. X13 13 almost half the cost about 850. where the ecm is about 1300. I asmost always go back with a X13, if its under warranty I still use a x13. York will still warranty it.
I would freak if I saw my thermostat start smoking on my wall! LOL!! Wow! Now that is toasty!! Definitely not, SubWay eat fresh!!! That board wuz not too fresh!!! LOL!!!
I installed one of those ST9120's once. Really easy and it replaces something like 30 or 40 different circuit boards. Who'd a thunk electricity + rain would cause an electrical fire? Nice repair work, especially in a pinch like that.
I used to built these before I got my trade certificate

@PutSome5tankOnIt Thank you sir 5tank. I found out later that the home owner tryed to fix it took off the door and the door slid down the roof.

@Nutintoitbut2doit You found out later, huh? How unusual... a homeowner that doesn't 'fess up and tell you what they did until AFTER you get there.

@dizziedallas Yes it works for all well almost all York, ICP, Goodman, Amana rooftops, and some furnaces. I stock 2 of these on each truck.

That is one scary unit! Did you ever find the door?
dizziedallas 1 year ago
@dizziedallas Hay Mr. Dallas, yea the door was on the ground in the back yard lol. We get alot of those board fires on the Yorks and ICP rooftops.
