  • Thanks for the video......I stopped by to see if you had any information on Roxanthin.

Apparently its the vitamin or nutrient that causes Salmon to be bright pink and flamingo's to turn pink. Its supposed to be the new found super nutrient according to a guest being interviewed by Dr. Oz. I didn't catch the entire segment so I'm digging for info.....it was interesting to say the least.

  • Hey, you can catch Dr Whiting in a live lecture in Glendale California on Sept 19-Saturday and he will also be lecturing in Northern California Sept 23 thur 26. Call 1-800-440-2390 for details so you can attend.

  • Dr Whiting, I know you trust Udo Eurasmus. If you tell us about some others you trust, we would be able to find more good sources of information.

  • Contact Dr Whiting at 1-888-454-8464

  • Thank you for your over site you are very helpful and informative in your video's. People like yourself are a positive for you tube. There is another guy out there called TreeClimbingMan who mocks people like yourself and is the reason why you tube is going down the tubes.

  • Thank you very much for you support. My direct number is 1-888-454-8464.

  • Actually TreeClimbingMan is FOR all the things that Dr Whiting is for!

He's about healthly living and healthy eating.

He just doesn't have much street cred!

and he doesn't explain himself too well!:)

  • I've been told by doctors that you should avoid saturated fats and that vegetable oils are better. Olive the best. What's worse polyunsat or sat fats?

  • Polyunsaturated fats are the absolute worst!!! They are the major cause of liver toxicity, inflammation in the body, and are the number one cause of heart disease, the number one killer.... Olive oil and all monounsaturated oils are the best. Secondly saturated fats, in moderation, actually lower cholesterol levels over time due to the effect of their key fatty acids on the liver function. Remember, we don't eat cholesterol it is made and regulated in the liver.

  • Cardiologists have told me to stay away from saturated fats and eat mono and polyunsaturated fats. How can there be a mixup like this in the medical community. Even my nutrition professor says saturated fats are to be avoided. Don't saturated increase LDL levels?

  • No, saturated fats actually increase HDL !!!

I suggest you pick up a copy of Fats And Oils by Eurasmus. This explains albeit somewhat technically, the whole fat situation. The ideal diet should be mostly monounsaturated fats and some saturated. Polyunsaturates should be avoided at all costs. Remeber your grandparents and great grandparents consumed almost totally saturated animal fats and heart disease was virtually unknown!!!!
