Heard this light night a police award dinner that my dad was invited to, I then fell in love with this song, and "my girl". there was many old people i wanna say from the 50s-60s and they were up moving and all. Me i'm only 17 hispanic male, and I love it, it wanted me to look back at the roots of music, they also played blues like Ray Charles's "Georgia". I had a great night and new music to get into my ipod :)

you know something..this song is soo good on its own...but then they show all of the people and AMERICA back then! just dancing and having good time...then they show AMERICAS building AMERICAN CARS and it just makes me sooo sad at how much our country has changed...we need OUR OLD COUNTRY BACK!!!!

I LOVE the Temptations and their beautiful music. This video shows the most beautiful singers of all time and I LOVED the cars in it, they were beautiul as well. The music is fantastic, not like the noise of today.Their songs make me happy.
For 2:43 minutes the Temptations send me on a joyride full of soul,depth, energy something that is lacking in most music...thank goodness for Replay:)

If i had the choice between a whole day of listening to Motown or modern music, i would chose Motown in a heart beat. Sure there's Adele and Alicia Keys who are two of the few artist's today who actually have talent, but it's just not enough.

And also letting the older people who grew up with the music of the 60's & 70's that there are young people who appreciate this music, while much of their peers, (or at least pretend to) go for the mainstream "all flash, video hype and no talent songs that won't last for 50 years like the above song does.

But when I play this stuff for my friends they're like "That sounds stupid!" and they change it to Ke$ha or Bruno Mars, two singers who have yet to prove their talent to me without auto-tune.

Positive that I was born at the wrong time. My husband sings this to me all the time. He and I definitely are a pair that don't belong to the 21st century. We should have been born at least 40yrs before the 80's.
It makes me sad to hear people think that there is no talent in this generation. It does exist however you won't find it in the main culture. Motown (by that I mean the city of Detroit) still has amazing artists hidden throughout the city. There is still passion in music it's jut up to the public to demand the Casio's and Autotuners be put away. It's not the Black Eyed Peas that made themselves famous...it's people buying their albums.

@dixiedean10 - I wish I could have danced with the Temptations....I saw them in Los Angeles when I was growing up there in Long Beach and Compton in the 60's. I would have loved to get on the stage and dance with them....so much joy, happiness, pure style and SO MUCH TALENT. Did you see the movie "The Temptations" check it out. Love The Temptations!!!!! I was born in 1979, but I always say that my musical age is different of the ID one. :) The Bee Gees, Elvis, The Beatles, Otis Reading, Marvin Gaye, Van Morrison...well, I could go on forever... Good music days!!!! Still choose them for soundtrack to my life.

If i had the choice between a whole day of listening to Motown or modern music, i would chose Motown in a heart beat. Sure there's Adele and Alicia Keys who are two of the few artist's today who actually have talent, but it's just not enough.
Motown, Atlantic, Philles Records, e.t.c wins.

@Pumarisi124 They aren't braggin', they are just letting others of their age know they are not alone in preferring this music and music of their parents and even grandparents now . And also letting the older people who grew up with the music of the 60's & 70's that there are young people who appreciate this music, while much of their peers, (or at least pretend to) go for the mainstream "all flash, video hype and no talent songs that won't last for 50 years like the above song does.

I listen to this kind of music and Rod Stewart and The Brother's Gib, Edith Piaf, The Supremes, Beatles, The Monkees, ANYTHING. But when I play this stuff for my friends they're like "That sounds stupid!" and they change it to Ke$ha or Bruno Mars, two singers who have yet to prove their talent to me without auto-tune.

It makes me sad to hear people think that there is no talent in this generation. It does exist however you won't find it in the main culture. Motown (by that I mean the city of Detroit) still has amazing artists hidden throughout the city. There is still passion in music it's jut up to the public to demand the Casio's and Autotuners be put away. It's not the Black Eyed Peas that made themselves famous...it's people buying their albums.

Because of American Idol and Corporate Amerika, the youth of today get crap shoved down their throats. I don't know, I just come to You Tube and listen to the music of the 60's and 70's mostly. @dixiedean10 - I wish I could have danced with the Temptations....I saw them in Los Angeles when I was growing up there in Long Beach and Compton in the 60's. I would have loved to get on the stage and dance with them....so much joy, happiness, pure style and SO MUCH TALENT. Did you see the movie "The Temptations" check it out. I am greatful to be able to see and share these videos and songs with my young children to see what REAL TALENT is! Be Blessed!
