If this thing wants to be very cool and energy-efficient, doesent the Intel Atom have to be smarter than Core i7? Not as fast as it, but smart as it? It needs to run the PC and all, and be cool, use a little amount of energy and all, but if a CPU uses a little amount of those, it wont be able to run so well. How can this be energy-efficient and still be really good?
Most tables use Arm Cortex processor which are far more power effective than the atom processors. They also they show a iPad but that dues not use a atom processor if it did it would only last 2-4 hours not 10 hours. It’s uses a ARM (A4) The only thing an atom has going for it is it floating point power. Which is not a big deal in mobile devices. It’s not a bad processor just not very power effective.
@MrJonathanpace93 either ranking from 1.0 to 2.1GHz (either 1C or 2C) but I think Intel is talking about the new Z6XX series (which focusing on High end smartphone and handheld devices) which has either 1.5 to 1.9GHz
