The 'agnostic' in that story is spot-on with the idiots I've come across.
I really get a kick out of how they think they can insert a middle area inside a binary stance. Either you believe in a god or you don't, just like you either have a can of coke, or you don't.
@Anon11674 It's typically not so much a dishonest stance as it is a misinformed one. "Agnostics" tend to view atheism as an assertion that there is no god. The honest agnostic who actually cares about such things usually adopts atheism once they understand the misnomers.
I've butted heads with many 'agnostics' who refuse to fix their definitions. Some seem to truly want a middle ground between belief and lack of belief, others are theological fence-sitters, some have that kind of arrogance where they'll refuse they ever got something wrong, and so on. Not sure how many are just muddled, and how many are screwy or arrogant bastards of one sort or another.
@Anon11674 Yeah, my experience as well. I think pinning down a ballpark of what percentage of reasonable agnostics exist is nearly impossible since they're likely to become atheists at the point of said reason, leaving predominantly stubborn agnostics behind.
Yup. Odd, how many people will stubbornly stick to such nonsensical things. Maybe they like pretending they 'know something nobody else does', sort of like some conspiracy theorists. No telling with some people.
Awesome, I have been preaching this gospel since I first heard it. Someone needs to make a simple animation and clean up some of the language. Make this appealing to youth and adults alike. This can be, if done right, a momentous tool in further advancing at least the acceptance of free thinkers.
why so many dislikes, this is great!

I'd pay real money to see Nonstampcollector make a cartoon out of this. He should collaborate with non-prophets and make it happen!

The photo was just a promotional type thing. If I had photoshop and pictures of all four, I'd have mixed that together but I don't. Meh.

Leprechauns are real. They stole some gold from the Canadian mint. That's why nobody saw it happen. Magic! ;)
