@donnomar I can't find any dates on that, however the two churches split because of political pressures in Europe. Of course The Catholic and Christian church have similar beliefs not all. In addition, if you really take an honest look at Islam you will see that there are many different things about it from christianity.

@MMradnane This discrepancy is sufficiently accounted when you consider Ezra's account was taken out of Babylon and Nem out of Judea after the walls were rebuilt.So death and other causes have to be considered after the lapse of so many years. Also if Ezra used the earlier list he most likely accounted those who had the intention of joining the caravan where Nem accounted those who actually arrived in Judea after the long trek from Mesopotamia. There are also numerous copyist explanations.

Oh, FYI, The Holy Trinity IS mentioned in the Bible, by Jesus, in Matthew 28:19. Again, whatever your opinion is, you obviously don't understand a thing about Christianity. The Trinity is a mystery of faith, but all parts of it are: considered equal in their divine nature, power, etc. Google that.

@donnomar It begins with original sin, (Adam and Eve). It corrupted mankind. God is pure and sinless and cannot have sin in His sight,(it's like putting a battery in backwards). He needed to become flesh like us and then we have Jesus Christ. Jesus was put through every temptation that we are but remand sinless. If you think someone else pay for your sins is acceptable or even moral, then why we dont allow that if a criminal doesn't want to go to jail he should be allowed to pay some money to a poor person to go to the jail in his place. The first christians had many books and many sects, when Rome took christianity they had to make it more official and more controlable. They had the council of Nicea in 400 ac, there they decided jesus was the son of god, they created the holly trinity myth and they selected only those books that were pro that idea, christian books that claimem the humanity of jesus were banned and considered heresy

Who decided what books are part of the bible and which are not was the Roman Catholic chuch. Catholic means universal in latin, cause the idea was to unify all the different christian sects into one. The Bible is worked up of 66 books of real eyewitness events. Jesus was a Jew but He was also God manifest in the flesh, Therefore God died for you through Jesus Christ. Most of the first christians considered themselves jews and they did not believe in the trinity, so you are not one of them. New testament is the same in the tweo bibles, so you use the selection made by constantine and the roman catholic church in Council of Nicaea. The main difference between the two bibles is that in the Anglican Bible some chapters of the Old Testament have been removed.

I'm not Christian, or even religious in any sense. But I have two points to make that makes me feel at least some of this information is BS. First they said they broke "corn bread". Corn originated in what is modern day Mexico. Unless I am hearing wrong...Secondly at the end he says that the stories of "the idea of a savior god goes all the way back to the earliest forms of the human experience in Africa". Egypt originated about 6,000 years ago or so. Our species did 100,000 years ago.

Check History and where Christianity built there church upon. Mithras was adopted in the 2nd and 3rd century when Christianity was actually formed before that followers of the Christ were ALL jews. Probably Jesus was originally a follower of John the Baptist. Paul's genuine letters (older than the gospels) never mention the virgin birth yet Paul claims to have met Jesus' brother James and his followers Peter and John. Christianity evolved during the first and second century into what he know it to be with pagan ideas added later.

Jesus married Mary Magdalene at the wedding of Cana of Galilee. They had a son named Simon Bar Jesus (Acts 8:9, 13:6). Jesus and Mary Magdalene had two other sons and two daughters after they moved to Egypt. Their children intermarried with Africans in Upper Egypt. Nowadays, Winter begins usually in the 21st or 22nd of December, so the celebrations should be shifted to that day.

You're correct in saying that Islam corroborates the virgin birth of Jesus(pbuh) but at the same time refutes claims by christians about his divinity. Furthermore, this is simply a conflict of theology, if you do not believe in the creation of the Universe by a God, then it would make sense that you don't believe in the virgin birth. In addition, if you really take an honest look at Islam you will see that there are many different things about it from christianity.

That is how the ancient Prophets and believers prayed (alayhimus salaam), and it can be found in the bible every time it says someone threw his face to the ground, Jesus (alayhis salaam) did it in the garden of Gethsemani!
