  • Nice

  • great tank

  • what kind of lighting do you use? i just moved and had to disassemble my tank. check out the video in my channel if you want. you have mastered a difficult art my friend. thanks for sharing.

  • i there a lot of saltwater stores in ;poland

  • Will ozone kill Cyanobacteria

  • Sorry were can I get that music from, can you please do update on this tank buddy

  • We can I get that music from what is it called my friend

  • i see you dont use any kalk or calcium reactor and doing everything via dosing pump. i want to copy your method, can you name the chemicals for me. specially in those big plastic white gallons.

  • Very impressive!

  • Really nice looking tank

  • Could you do update in your tank please,

  • 2 questions

#1 how many times a day do you feed your fish ?

#2 how much do you feed your fish ?

  • @BIGPOND400 I try to feed them about 4 times a day. so they have chance to eat everything quickly and so that theres no waste to contaminate. about 4 small cubes of frozen artemia, 2 cubes of mysis and 4 cubes of small krill. I also give the tangs dry seweed sheets in a clip 4 times a week. the ordinary sushi leaves are plenty good enough, and cheaper too!

  • @mareklittlebritain thanks man

  • wut is the name of that system he is using propylox?

  • @zxchopsueyxz it's called a "profilux" and the computerised dosing units are by "groteh" :-)

  • @mareklittlebritain thanks for the help i couldnt figure just how it was said in the video

  • wath is your water temperature marek nice tank

  • @uranbailey summer time I have the cooler on at 26.5 but normally I keep it at 25.5c

  • When are you going to show how your tank is doing m8

  • You can spend well over $1000 on a nano cube... that's got over a thousand in acros!!!

  • pedro

  • dude you went all out.. thats like over 1000 just under the tank.. forget that shyt

  • @xitaliankingx Trust me man, that setup is WELL over a $1000. I have a 55gal reef tank and I've invested several thousand and my setup isn't anywhere as nice as this guys!! =)

  • amazing setup mate

  • Will your skimmer not just pull out what your does pumps is putting in , I switch mine of when I put mine in for an hour

  • I never imagined before, that the aquarium can be as automatised. Jurand

  • great set up man love it......

  • How rich are you? Can you be my friend

  • wow!!!!!! very complex!!!

  • VERY NICE

  • mind blowing! i've learnt alot from your video bro! and you've got urself an amazing tank! Happy Reefing! =D

  • Did NASA build this? That's where all my tax dollars wen't.

  • Hello could you please let me know if you need MV Computer to run ozone thanks

  • @dm002a8686 , the profilux unit has a redox probe on it which if too high tells me to switch off or lower the ozone output. I have the O3 on ovr night now as I have too much life in the tank now and need every little help I get. NOT a fan of UV as it strips the water of nutrience too much.

  • yes I do, I have 2 zippy bags with 1 1/2 cups of carbon granules in each!

  • you dont use carbon???

  • excelente vídeo

  • Amazing Tank...what is your maintenance routine and what supplements do you does? also what lighting plz....thx

  • great video very informative

  • Cheers marik . When are you going to do update of your tank and post some more video

  • Cheers how many litres is you tank

  • main tank: 450ltrs the sump: 150ltrs

  • Thank you for that information ,your tank is fab, I put mine on at 9pm and of at 2am do think that is long enought,my tank is 500lts how much ozone do I use ??? Please let me know

  • Basically it all depends on (how much shit you have in the water)! I have a lot of life in my tank , there fore I need to take all measues to ensure high water quality. The answer to your question: if you have your tank filled up with life, then you need longer hours of ozonization! Not forgetting it is an ARTIFICIAL method of maintaining water quality!!!!! The best way is to combat the problem and rely on natural water bacterial filtration :-)

  • it all depends on how much life you have in your tan. all organic matters excreet organic waste which breaks down into toxic matter. I have mine set on around 40 p/h but dont forget that OZONIZING IS AN ARTIFICIAL WAY OF KEEPING WATER QUALITY HIGH!!!

  • Hello good you please tell me how many hours of the day you put your ozone on. My tank is 500 ltr how long should I leave it on I have it set for 5 hours at 30 mmp is that ok

Hour tank is brill well done

  • the ozonizer comes on at 9pm and switches off at 9 am. the smell is unpleasant for one and its toxic too. The tank is in my office so I have the ozonizer on when theres no one there. P.s, ozone very quickly perishes in the open atmosphere.

  • defenitly the tank worth every piece of equipment you have there lovely tank congratulations

  • Great Job!!!

  • Oh and how many gallons is this tank?

I don't have a protein skimmer yet, but should probably get one. I've had my 29 gallon running for about a year with no problems, so far at least.

You've got the best system I've seen. Great job!

  • For instance: The calcium lev in a new salt solution is around 450. if I didnt add calcium supliment, it would drop to around 300 within 2 days!

  • What's the quality of your water before you add it to your system? It seems like it couldn't be too good since you've got o add all these chemicals? Though you obviously know what you're talking about. Cool tank. Good size and lots of fish - very interesting! :)

  • I use "Preis"salt and its one of the best on the market! It contains a rich variety of all the trace elements needed. The reason why I have to add the suppliments is because all the corals I have within the tank use them up very quickly!

  • Fajny Filmik pozdrawiam

  • Nic dodac nic ujac... Pozdrawiam

  • Super!!!!!

  • Super Filmik

  • O oja :) jaka instalacja pod tym akwarium !!! swietne pozdrawiam

  • excelente vídeo

  • Boskie akwarium

  • Superowe Akwarium.. na żywo pewnie pięknie wyglada..

  • Zajefajne akwarium

    W ciul rybek i korali

Ten co tam gada troche przynudza ale ogolnie super

  • I agree with reefmaster1! Its a great job and you have managed to get a lot of equipment in such a small cabinet. 5/5 from me. A great job!

  • Dude, that's biggest mess i've seen!!! At least you're using a profilux and grotech chemicals. Nice naso! (lipstick tang) Great job on aquaskape. Do the same for your sump cabinet!

  • judging by the ammount of stuf he has actually I think it's quite neat!!!!! He's crammed a lot of equipment inta a small space! Maybe "jinxed" if you have a neater system, you can show everyone here how it looks????

  • Where's the chiller?

  • unfortunately there was no room for a water cooling unit . I rely on a ATI 6 fan module which comes on automaticaly when the temp gets too high. Luckily I don't get too much evapouration.

  • alot of work and time went into this, nice job

  • ile taki caly system kosztowal?

  • hi there Marek. I have the the version 4 profilux on my pc. is it compatible with windows vista? I am having a few problems with it? please answer.

  • Approx how much money is that system?

  • 32,000 euro mate

  • 8x 56inch t-5s.

  • what sort of lighting do you have? are they t-5s or \HQI?

  • what a fantastic setup. music is good too! 5/5 from me.

  • this is very nice... wish i had something like this...

  • h t t p : / / w w w . g h l - p r o f i l u x . c o m / thats the web page for the preofilu computer aquarium steering system. Mine is the profilux ll plus

  • Hi,

well i wanted to know more on the computer eqipmen that your using. ur tank awesome dude. although i have one for a year now. i need to get this computer eqipment that ur talking about.

    Matin

  • plus another 150ltr for the sump he he :-)))))

  • oh sorry, in the beginning is says 450l

  • amazing tank, what size is it?

  • looks complicated

  • thanks but do u know the exact name

  • amazing tank. 5/5 from me whats the mizik in the background at: 4:46 ?

  • if anyone would like to see the the progression of the tank and corals and what it looks like now, (nearly a year later) please email me on: s e a f i s h i o n @ o 2 . p l

  • music in the second part of the film is: MEDWYN GOODALL - Water Song.

  • Great tank, also what is the name/artist of the music?

  • Its called a gro-tech "Niveaumat" not expensive.......around 50 pounds which is about 60 or 70 bucks! :-)))

  • ur tank is amazing.

Were did u get the unites to top up your elements automatically?

  • there called Gro-tech dosers and you can buy them at better equipped aquatic shops. or through the internet. if you need any more info on them, drop a message and i will give you more details! :-)))))

  • Nice tank; I guess he is a hardcore fish keeper (& he has the money) that is why he has all the equipment & so many fishes; If he didn't have so many fishes, he could have done with a lot less of the equipment. Well some have flashy cars, Some have exp. dogs, he has a nice aquarium; GOOD JOB MAN !!!

[it would be good to list all the coral & the fishes +invert.s that you have in the description of the vedio]

  • I researched all the equipment he has just to see how much-that gro-tech dosing pump hub with ep-4 add-on and the profilux .The Profilux is over 2000 pounds in the uk so in the states thats like 2700 bucks. Those dosers are another 600 altogether. Plus ghl's lighting for the profilux is another hefty bill. In my eyes if you want a great tank-be willing to spend time each day on maintenance. If you want big expensive toys to do your work is all good but dont make it seem mandatory to have all that

  • Also if he would have taken some time to neaten up that wiring it would make it look a lot less confusing to newcomers. I mean take some pride in the WHOLE SYSTEM- not just the display tank. I dont ever want someone to look at my tank and say WOW! AWESOME! then look at my sump and say WOW! WHAT THE FUCK IS WITH THAT? Should be neat and wires channeled with all your drip loops at the same point so they drip to the same spot if water gets on the wires. Just my opinion.

  • @JimmyR1rider oh please give me your opinion on my tank. just wondering what you think.

  • you're right with what you've said, but as every hobby goes, one tries to achieve more and more as time goes on!!! He obviously has the money to spend so why not. He's just enjoying himself. About the mess in the sump.... whell yes I agree it could have been neater.

  • Any sump i've ever seen doesn't even seem to skin the surface on the organization Marek has put into his sump system. If you could find me a more organized sump i've love to see it, i'm not kidding either. All I find are dirty/unorganized sumps.

  • Lets be honest-truly honest though about this video. Its a beautiful tank-a great setup and yeah he knows what hes talking about. BUT I've read a lot of these posts and its turned a lot of people kind of away from starting a saltwater tank. You don't NEED all the toys he has there. You dont need dosing pumps you can add suppliments by hand. You cant do everything the profilux controller does with timed power strips BUT you are also limited to what lighting you can use with the profilux.

  • He truly knows what he's talking about. Good job man. You need to simulate the oceans water because of how pure it is, hence how clear the exotic reef are. Only thing he's missing is a refugium, which I incorporated into my setup and has truly made my water incredibly clean. So marek, you ever going to take the plunge or are you maxed on space?

  • Thanks for that brilliant explanation of your filtration system. Beautiful tank. Cheers

  • i was considering turning my tank salt water until i saw all this. it looks like a car engine!

  • uh, you can get smaller tanks without all that.

  • dear djears, to your question.......no you "don't need all that shit".....but it saves you a lot of time and pissing around!

  • that is a nice set up mate nice work but do you really need all that shit man ???

  • hi paul, in response to your question..... the tank is 140cm long by 50cm wide and 65cm high. I wish I'd have made the tank wider as it was very difficult positioning the corals far away from the window with enough clearance space for me to clean the tank walls. that extra width with yours will be of great benefit i can assure you.

  • I've got to admit this video puts me off starting a reef tank.

  • dont let it this guy just has alot

  • Yeah true this is overkill almost makes the hobbie a chore

  • congratulations, your tank this fabulous...

  • Well done and I appreciate the discussion.

  • Hi Marek,

You have done an amazing job on your tank setup.

I read it was 450 litres, can you tell us the dimensions of your tank please?

I am looking at getting a 450litre tank and wanted to comapre sizes to see if they are similar to yours, I think the one I was looking at was not as high as yours but greater depth.

    Many thanks

    Paul

  • were can i get on of those controle units

  • That is amazing i wish i had that

  • holly crap sweet as tank good work

  • amazing tank. hopefully one day, underneath my tank can look like that. but for now.. just a wet/dry filter next to an ugly tank stand in my room w. some beautiful corals =/

  • Amazing tank, thanks for posting this video!

  • its called a "profilux II plus".

Now I have much more (add ons) from various firms, but the main heart is the profilux.

I hope I was of use bigdsalarm

  • whats the name and spelling of the computer system for your aquarium?

  • I do not know, I hesitate to see the complexity of the equipment

  • GOOD GOD .your light bill must throw the roof

  • I am blown away by your setup. It truly is an incredible reef tank in which you devoted a lot of time in order to setup. The under tank system was explained very well and gave me some ideas to my near future add ons. I was a novice once and am still learning a vast amount of information on this ever-growing hobby. I admit to being immature in previous comments because I thought I knew a lot about the hobby, but now I've come to realize that I barely know nothing, learning new info each day lol

  • Congratulation my friend, great work !!

  • fantastic set up mate and beautiful tank! 5/5 from me!

  • ldsidahoinmatt: comparing your videos....(which are very primitive and boring)..... this guy has put together a great illustration of how his reef system works. The display is beautiful too. Start criticising others idsidahoinmatt when you have something better to show!

  • Exellent tank!

  • nice set up m8 i can not w8 antill i get my 4x2x2 up and running. and as for brsith4

ur a prick and dont comment on stuff that

is out side ur brain power noob end

  • I really want one of these setups. how much does it cost to get something like this up and running, including creatures?

  • P.s, whats the computer control unit and how much does it cost? I have a ph probe only. how many can you connect up to your unit and what readings does it give you?

  • all-in-one units like that are usually more than 300 dollars. they're usually about 1,000 dollars after probes and don't forget you have to replace probes at least once a year :(

  • I don't know what your problem is BRSITH4, he obviously knows his system inside out and has managed to set up a beautiful and well organised reef tank. I think the word jealous comes in to my mind when i read your comment. Fantastic tank mate, well done and hope it matures well for you! 5/5 from me

  • he was dumbing down his speaking for idiots like you. aquarium jargon wouldn't be logical to post in a youtube video since most people who watch this have no idea what they're looking at. stop being an asshole and just enjoy the effort he put into showing us his awesome tank.

  • Absolutely amazing setup mate.

  • hey how much is ur electrical bill for your tank per month

  • Awesome tank!! sweet sump!!

  • BEUTIFUL TANK! Music goes great with it!

  • Tank looks great! Great job.

TheOneAndOnly = You don't have enough flow or light in that tank the penetration isn't as good as say a MH or T5 so it's not going to give the required PAR. A Skilter isn't fullproof, but given your bio-load you may be ok. A single MJ600 is a bit low so I'd go with the mod and drop the Aqua clear, HOB act as trap zones and cause issues down the road. Please re-think this carefully. I hope i helped some and please ask more q's I implore them esp in this hobby.

  • son of a gun! this guy nailed the status of 'having a perfect tank'!

  • Hey thanks for Great Video !!! Nice Reef too, Good Job !!!

  • Great video, want to setup a reef tank soon, but the first thing i am working on is the light, LED's is what i am going with so trying to find the best way to set up or the best LED buy.

    LED's are the "it" now.

  • its good to see a good "high quality" video, as far as the sump go's wow, its more complex then a car engine and for the main tank it looks really good and you can view it from both sides which is a fantastic idea

  • where do u get that computer thing to does ur trace elements

  • I recomend you have atleast 1 power head in your tank which will stirr the water in order for you not to have (dead spots) in your tank. secondly, anemones prefer HQI lights so I believe. Dont forget,,,, they WALK!!!! An anemone will crawl everywhere even where you dont want it to until it finds the right place.

  • My anemone move about 3in and then planted his foot half way into by live rock, pretty neat. Guess i'm a lucky one. Some people get there anemone sucked up into a filter because it moves around soo much. How much flow should I have in my 36 gallon? As of now I have a maxi-jet 600. Should I put a sureflow inorder to increase the flow or am I alright?

  • Yeah, ur a tad bit nerdy. You have a computerized element despenser!! Are you kinding me. I've honestly never heard of that, but your tank is in good shape so it must be working. Really incredible, must've taken you forever and a lot of money. I've got a question, I have a fish only saltwater tank, could I put 1-2 anemone in my tank? It doesn't have a protein skimmer, sump, or powerhead. It just has good filtration and descent lighting 50W for a 36 gallon. Is that alright or do I need to add?

  • Wow... Are you a complete idiot? Calling him nerdy, yet you have a salt setup without a skimmer, sump, or PH's And you call 50 watt's "descent" lighting? Do the math, you have only 1.47 watts per gallon. LMAO

  • Yeah, i upgraded and currently have coralife 130W, a skilter 450(which is full proof), 10lbs of live rock, and an aquaclear 2x 50(400gph) for extra filtration. I am housing an anemone and the clownfish has already hosted in it. :) Along with a hawaiian firefish, 2 green chromis, and several soft corals. So i guess ur the real idiot lol Proved u wrong kid...

  • watts per gallon is old terms.

  • 50 Watts? Thats not enough for low light Coral, let alone a Anemone, not to mention you dont have any flow, a sump, or even a skimmer...i'm amazed you have any fish alive in that tank.

Nice Vid though, top nice, great tank siregregg

  • Yeah, i now have 130W coralife, with a skilter 450, 2x aquaclear 50( which turns over 400gph), 10 lbs of live rock. My current livestock consist of an anemone which my clownfish has already hosted :), hawaiian firefish, 2 green chromis, and several soft corals. Fish are thriving and healthy. HELLZ YEAH.

  • Dear i Race Wheelies:, In reply to your question: In my video you may see a lot of equipment some of which you might be familiar with and some not. Reef keeping isnt all expensive gadgets as some of my friends have reef tanks FAR more superior to mine and run them on half the gear I have.

  • On the other hand some may have twice as much equipment and call mine a basic set up. My words are DO WHAT WORKS FOR YOU THE BEST Once you have read a few books and know what the score is, you will be able to judge and determine what you need and what you will be happy with.

  • Wow, seems like you know your stuff. I have a 36 gallon bowfront, with 3 damsels, its only been running for a few days, oh yeah, it's my first saltwater fish only tank, I have 2 aquaclear 50(400gph), lava and tufa rock, no powerhead, no sump, no protein skimmer, and I have a powerglo(20W, 18000K)and a standard bulb(17W). I want to add anemone, preferably 2-3 bubble tip/condy. Do I have sufficient lighting and do I need to add a pro. skim, sump, more lighting, etc? Thanks man! :)

  • Once you have read a few books and know what the score is, you will be able to judge and determine what you need and what you will be happy with. Once your fish dealer gets to know you and if he/she can see you want to invest a little money into your venture, they will advise you on everything. (the newest and latest products on the market)

  • In my experience some of the older methods of reef keeping work much better! There are soooooo many different approaches to the hobby that you soon get saturated with different advice and products resulting in a mind block on what method to addopt. My advice: Read the basics of reef keeping CHEMISTRY, Dont rush as this can and will cause upset, Always buy quarrintined live stock,

  • , dont be lazy and do regular water test checks (keeping records of everything) and the one piece of equipment I do advise you invest in is a GOOD protein skimmer! This will counter ballance any overfeeds you do and ensure good water quality! (bearing in mind you can be TOO thorough and skim the water too much thus resulting in mineral and goodness free water.

I am no expert or scientist just a mad lover of this hobby and will quite gladly talk to others with my passion.

  • awesome tank!!! I have a 220gal with nothing in it yet.

  • does it have to be that complicted? cant you just have a sump with live rock bio balls a skimmer etc. a heater pwoerheads and some metal halides on a timer? do you really need all those wires and tubes? idk ive been thinking about making a 75 gallon reef tank but idk now after watching this vid, im only 16 idk how to set up and of that phosfate and tube shit. please tell me it doesnt have to be this complicated
