The Sims 2 Bon Voyage - Trailer

The sims 3 version of this (World adventure) actually isn't bad compared to the sims 2 version.

However, they both go in the opposite direction.

Bon voyage, is about going on a FAMILY vacation and bringing a piece of it home with you. Many of the objects/activities are meant to be used with other sims, and you sims can learn dances and more which they can use at home.

The sims 3 world adventure, however focuses on tomb exploration, and new skills, and is more suited to 1 or 2 sims at a time.

I love this game it's a lot better then the sims 3 don voyage. I really like sims 3 better becaz I find it more fun and Theres actually a plot to the games. I really want to play these again. Caz I think it better and more fun then sims 3.

Just because you've learn to love SIms 2 doesn't mean you should bash SIms 3 and not appreciate what the EA company is trying to do. Really.... They did a great job with Sims 3 in their expansion packs. First people complain about it not being realistic, then they complain about it being too realistic....

@ajk4000 freetime is worth it! Its so fun!! :D Your sims can have hobbies, like cooking or fitness. If your SIm is REALLY into a hobby like for example, dance and music, a person will come to your house and give you a secret membership to this building..... I say its awesome! ^.^

Besides, The Sims 2 didn't have:

Going somewhere without a loading screen, Going to other peoples houses, high-rise buildings, story progression, you couldn't GO to work, favorite food, color, music, as much design. People complain about rabbit holes, it would take 20 minutes to get somewhere, no opportunities, not as wide of a variety of cooking or farming, etc.

I admit, Sims 2 had better stuff, but could people please stop slagging off Sims 3? Give them time, who knows they could make an expansion pack that completely blows Sims 2 out of the way. There are features in Sims 2 that should have been in Sims 3, but that's not really their fault, Will Wright worked on Sims 1 and 2 but wasn't invloved in Sims 3 so obviously it's not going to be quite as good as Sims 2, but if you don't like Sims 3 then you don't have to play it. Just enjoy the game! xx

@24mee2. Personally I agree with what you are saying but the only problem with the sims 3 is that you need a really expensive graphics card !! Which is annoying as many people have spent money on a good graphics card for sims 2 . Do you have the sims 3 ? And is it the same as the sims 2 except new wallpaper etc and better graphics ?

sims 3 graphics are wayy better than the sims 2. but apparently the sims 2 is better but i'd say that's ONLY because it has more expansion packs and stuff packs. if you take all the expansion and stuff packs off the sims 2 and 3, the sims 3 is waay better than the sims 2.
