there was a period where i thought pop music was really going to die. from 2009 i stopped taking interest in new music and just stuck with the past. i didn't listen to the radio, didn't watch music video channels, didn't search for any new artist on the internet or anything like that. i was not going to fall for the desperate gimmicky music scene which has taken over in order to drastically improve dwindling sales. adele has proven the old way still bloody works.
