you have to open it in an Insert Channel as an effect. You dont have to place it on a certain object.

You set up a blank sampler channel, set it to a mixer channel and load it up and hit record, it'll record it on that channel.

The Easiest way to bring it up is to bring up like the vocoder...and then from there go up to the little plug in looking button and change it to Fruity Scratcher....it will be in a list with things like the big clock,I hope you find it...if i had it on this computer i could give better directions..if that doesnt help then send me a message and i will try and get it up.
