@adictschampselysees we are at war right now in Afghanistan (and have been their since 2001), and we use a locally produced variant of the M-16 called the C-7. Actually , all of our weapons are roughly the same as any other NATO country, the C-6 is the FN MAG while the C-9 is the Minimi or SAW. We use basically the same weapons as the US Army. Our contingent in Afghanistan is the 3rd largest, behind the US and Britain. We didnt go into Iraq because we oppose unilateralism.

Germany probably makes some of the greatest weapons in the world. MP40 MP44 STG-44 P-38 Luger 9mm mg42. Weapons they make today are beyond question some of the greatest, G36E G36k G36c mp5 mp7 mg4. Germany... some of the best.

Yeah, I can kind of see where a Finn would support the Germans, afterall they helped divert the Soviets from Finland to Germany, pretty much sparing the Finns. The Finns were very good fighters and put up a very good fight against the Soviets but would have eventually lost due to shear numbers if it hadn't been for the Germans coming to their aid.
There's only one But: Germans caused the Winter war because of those contracts with Soviets. But we showed to our lovely neighbour that one of us is ten soviets, and the Finnish Sisu created.. @adictschampselysees we are at war right now in Afghanistan (and have been their since 2001), and we use a locally produced variant of the M-16 called the C-7. Actually , all of our weapons are roughly the same as any other NATO country, the C-6 is the FN MAG while the C-9 is the Minimi or SAW. We use basically the same weapons as the US Army. Our contingent in Afghanistan is the 3rd largest, behind the US and Britain. We didnt go into Iraq because we oppose unilateralism.

Germany probably makes some of the greatest weapons in the world. MP40 MP44 STG-44 P-38 Luger 9mm mg42. Weapons they make today are beyond question some of the greatest, G36E G36k G36c mp5 mp7 mg4. Germany... some of the best.

Oh yeah and, the Americans helped out the Russians a little so it wasn't all numbers, the Americans guns were great some of them were better than some german guns. Yeah, I can kind of see where a Finn would support the Germans, afterall they helped divert the Soviets from Finland to Germany, pretty much sparing the Finns. The Finns were very good fighters and put up a very good fight against the Soviets but would have eventually lost due to shear numbers if it hadn't been for the Germans coming to their aid.

There's only one But: Germans caused the Winter war because of those contracts with Soviets. But we showed to our lovely neighbour that one of us is ten soviets, and the Finnish Sisu created.. Germans saw that this little country wasn't like some Lithuania or Latvia.. Personally I can be proud of that to be a Finn, but sad is that many Finns died because of this madness with Soviets .. :/

I would still feel good knowing that the Soviets lost at least 10 soldiers for every Finn that died. The Soviets would have won if Germany hadn't diverted their attention. Its quite pathetic though because the Soviets would have only one due to shear numbers and not expert leadership.
