Black is not ONLY about skin color. Besides, no matter how light Tyra is, i'm sure she has been called th "N" word countless times. My skin is lighter that Tyra's and I've been called it too. We are Black, you're a white person with a tan, and society knows that. How many times have YOU been called the infamous N word???

Tyra Banks is a beautiful woman, but more importantly, an individual who has grown tremendously to become a tour de force in her own right within the entertainment world.
However, my concern with Tyra is that through her numerous platforms, she purports the idea of self-love and acceptance (particularly to young women) when in fact she herself has not fully embraced that concept. This is evident in feature-altering procedures like rhinoplasty.

Comparing older photos to more recent ones, it is apparent the change in her nasal structure is not due to merely skilled make-up application. Young girls/women, there is something important to be learned from every individual (good or bad). But please, let us all learn to look inside ourselves to find acceptance. Let us heed to the advice of positive role models in OUR OWN LIVES whose actions seamlessly reflect their beliefs.

who said she has fake boobs? rhinoplasty is a nasal procedure (i.e. NOSE job) that alters the shape and structure of the nose and not boobs =] i do love tyra and im a big fan..but i do agree with med151..if we love ourself just the way we are, then we wouldnt opt for artificial beauty which would just reflect our deep insecurities and self esteem issues...
