My argument is the bills are not being payed, that's why all these cuts (that affect the poor) are being proposed. The cuts are happening not because the programs are too expensive but b/c we have cut our income by giving huge tax cuts to the wealthy and corps. I also take issue with "greedy" govt. Govt is non profit. When tax money is funneled out of govt to make someone rich it is funneled to private businesses. It's not so much govt being the problem but the influence of greedy corp on govt.
It absolutely is a direct one. When conservative government policy leads to the top 1% acquiring 80% of all new wealth created over the past 20 years then there is a direct correlation between helping the rich and hurting the poor. Some individuals and corporations pay taxes but unfortunately for the wealthiest corporations there are ample loop holes to keep from paying anything...and they get tax credits. Exxon-most profitable corp in world, payed no taxes got a $175 million tax refund.

Not only are these the people paying their employees, they are also giving millions upon millions to the government through taxes. @OolTube02 The US Treasury prints the money, that won't change. Right now the Fed distributes the money from federal reserve banks, that would change. I would build a fleet of helicopters and fly the currency from the US treasury to the individual banks. Each bank would have a big chimney so i could drop the money in from the helicopter without landing. More efficient that way.

@OolTube02 The US Treasury prints the money, that won't change. Right now the Fed distributes the money from federal reserve banks, that would change. I would build a fleet of helicopters and fly the currency from the US treasury to the individual banks. Each bank would have a big chimney so i could drop the money in from the helicopter without landing. More efficient that way.
