"Suicide is the last philosophical question." For this statement alone, Camus should be remembered. It is the truth at the basement of the mind. Even Hamlet contemplated suicide. However, Hamlet's fear of death, the "dreams that may come," prevented action. I think suicide is 3 percent of world population. I cannot see why it is not higher. I guess the fear of death is very strong. Surely, we do not live for the love of life. Camus' book The Stranger is madatory reading.
