I don't think Beck has ever said that the American health care system is perfect. I think that anyone can agree there are ares that are extremely lacking in reform. The reason I think he now defends it so intensely is because of the fact that instead of reform, some want to completely restructure health care. I do believe that in some regions there are combined private and public option heath care that does ok, but those examples are few, and most of the time just a disaster.
