  • We have just put together an exhibition on 'Sport and peace', and one of the panels is of your mural. Thank you! It remains an inspiring and touching story.

  • Touched my heart even more, seeing Mr Smith and Mr Carlos carrying Mr Norman

to his resting place. Three great men that changed the world.

    Thankyou.

  • 3 amazing men

  • This image is iconic

  • Very strongly done by them.

  • All three of them risked a lot because its not just about loosing a medal but its about risking their life. We have seen other persons being persecuted for such reason or even less then that.

  • I'm from Turkey and I'm big respecting to your uncle, precious Peter Norman. He was a real breaveheart. I'll tell about him my childrens. He will live in our memories. World needs to be human like him. R.I.P. brave man.

  • I've always loved this piece of art... so moving... so proud yet so humble !!!

  • Thank you for keeping Peter Norman (My uncle) name alive... much appreciated!!! Matt Norman

  • It is my pleasure. Peter Norman certainly deserves the very highest level of admiration.

  • Used to see this mural on the train home from school

    R.I.P Peter Norman
