I know you said shows 2002 are crap, but that's not completely true. That Spiderman they had "Spectacular Spiderman" was really well made, and then...err can't think of any other Super Hero shows.

I have to say, though, your estimation of cartoons from 2002 and up seems just a little pessimistic. If only a little bit. I grew up watching many of the same classics you did, and I think if nothing else, Avatar and JLU consistently rate just as highly as any other cartoon on your list. Granted, I can't think of anything else that measures up right now, but that's something.
I never thought of the characters on dragonball Z as super heroes but they're super, and they're heroes, so of course, superheroes! I blame the fact that they don't have incredibly ridiculous costumes or secret identities cleverly hidden by a pair of glasses.

Ah the good times when we would all wake up Saturday mornin go sit in front of the tv for hours without a care in the world. Now a day kids crap shows. And to answer supermediabrothers question about cybersix and nine (if you don't already know) no they are not connected.
Cybersix was truly a great show that has been mostly misunderstood and forgotten. I wish it lasted longer. Beast Wars is a a cartoon of sorts, it is simply cgi animation, this is coming from someone who owns Transformers and in the process of buying Beast Wars and Beast Machines. YouTube has been pretty gay about Ninja Turtles. Batman is the true champion, anyone who says different is entitled to their own opinion but ultimately wrong. No hard feelings.

GREAT list man, probably the best i've seen anyone do of one of these on youtubes. special kudos for including gargoyles, truly one of the most epic themes of any cartoon and, imo, the best cartoon ever. too many of these lists don't include that show for whatever reason.

So I def. agree with TMNT, Spidey, and the X-Men. The rest are subjective however your choice for #1 in the 90s is very much accurate. I remember being a kid and having adults watch the show with us. The style was very old school Supreman cartoon with a lil Dick Tracy spin. Art above all. I agree here. Your Batman is really #1. It set the tone of most future cartoon series then and very much now.
A totally valid question. The truth is that when I made this list I was really into BW so thats why I included them. Do they count as superheroes? Somewhat. I mean they have powers, save the earth and fight epic battles. Anyways thanks for watching!!

Season 2 of FFTAS was better but I dig the 1st intro. Batman beyond is bad ass and needs 2 b revived in a comic, but not for little kids. Beast wars was epic, 1 of the best CG shows ever (though I prefer ReBoot). Gargoyles is just the best Disney thing ever. And do I need 2 say anything about DBZ + X-Men. And whithout a doubt Batman deserves #1, as well as the other 9 spots too.

all i know of the one cartoon was that the main character was dating (or something) and the girls farther was a mob boss and was trying to kill him and take over the world the one episode that i remember is the mob boss is replaced with a robot and then the real one helps them escape with them thinking that he was died but later on in the show or episode he drives by them. any help on finding this cartoon would great

Cybersix was truly a great show that has been mostly misunderstood and forgotten. I wish it lasted longer. Beast Wars is a a cartoon of sorts, it is simply cgi animation, this is coming from someone who owns Transformers and in the process of buying Beast Wars and Beast Machines. YouTube has been pretty gay about Ninja Turtles. Batman is the true champion, anyone who says different is entitled to their own opinion but ultimately wrong. No hard feelings.
P.S. Ronin Warriors was also awesome.

GREAT list man, probably the best i've seen anyone do of one of these on youtubes. special kudos for including gargoyles, truly one of the most epic themes of any cartoon and, imo, the best cartoon ever. too many of these lists don't include that show for whatever reason.

So I def. agree with TMNT, Spidey, and the X-Men. The rest are subjective however your choice for #1 in the 90s is very much accurate. I remember being a kid and having adults watch the show with us. The style was very old school Supreman cartoon with a lil Dick Tracy spin. Art above all. I agree here. Your Batman is really #1. It set the tone of most future cartoon series then and very much now.

A totally valid question. The truth is that when I made this list I was really into BW so thats why I included them. Do they count as superheroes? Somewhat. I mean they have powers, save the earth and fight epic battles. Anyways thanks for watching!!

Season 2 of FFTAS was better but I dig the 1st intro. Batman beyond is bad ass and needs 2 b revived in a comic, but not for little kids. Beast wars was epic, 1 of the best CG shows ever (though I prefer ReBoot). Gargoyles is just the best Disney thing ever. And do I need 2 say anything about DBZ + X-Men. And whithout a doubt Batman deserves #1, as well as the other 9 spots too.
