@SuperZackdavis Yeah, but for extreme speeds, you'd have to gear the Denali bike up a bit. The stock gears on these is similar to mountain bike gears.
I need help. I am a high school student in need of a bike for transportation and fitness. I have around $200 to spend and this bike seems good. Many people say getting a bike from walmart is bad and many say that this bike is great. I am split between this bike or something else. What do you think
@onealhart54 Many of the bikes from Walmart are junk. Those in particular are "Next", Mongoose, Roadmaster, and some Huffys. Stay away from those. This bike is of high quality, probably one of the highest quality bikes that Walmart sells, other than limited sales of high end bikes from top end manufacturers. This bike is great for what it is. Makes a good transportation bike. I have a newer 2010 model now. Just be sure to keep the bike maintained, or let a shop take care of it for you.
Are your tires bald from so much use in the center, or are they suppose to be smooth and have tread only on the sides so you dont fall when you turn? Also, whats attached to the bottom of the handle bars by the stationary bike speedometer
@stydel311 Only a speedometer and headlight was attached in that area... And the rear tire was worn in the center, but the front still had all of its tread.
Hey, I see you done quite some modifications on your bike! nice work! I have one suggestion for you though, have you ever try top clips? You could get something like "Delta Bicycle Strapless Toe Clips" on Amazon (for less than $10), and it will make quite a different when you ride the bike. Let me know if you have any questions!
would these bikes go alot faster on the road than mountainbikes
