there are either EMG pickups or seymour duncan blackouts. the "blackout" is a duncan pickup, the pickups he uses in his guitars are EMGs.

drop c is downtuning the strings a whole step and the low string to C. so its basically drop D a step down. you can tune an additional step down if you want to with normal gauge strings if you wanna be more "brutal". thats what my band does.
