@jimmyelgringito I personally love the 3DS and all that Nintendo has done for it, i'm just pointing out how it didn't get as much copies sold as Nintendo planned for it; like Bethesda and Fallout: New Vegas for example, inducing them to lower prices to make up for supply and demand.
@SawmanZ It had a fairly poor launch, the first few weeks where great but Nintendo let the 3rd party devs carry the system until the holidays since the biggest complaint the 3rd party devs had with nintendo was that their games couldn't compete with 1st party nintendo games. BUT, the 3rd party devs where playing the "wait-and-see" game so they where delaying and cancelling games for it which made less and less people want to buy it. Thanks to the price drop it is selling a lot better now.
