It's the disciplines in riding which make it hard. Anyone can ride (sit/passenger) but who out of the people saying its easy cab actually pull off a difficult stunt from a chosen discipline flawlessly ? Or backing and schooling youngsters ? Haha just thought id join in lol x

Why do people fight on Youtube comments? It doesn't make any sense to me. When someone post something stupid. Why tell them they're idiots? It makes you look petty, and they probably already know their not overly liked or intelligent, hence why they're posting that bile to begin with. In my personal opinion (remember that) to be a really good equestrian, in the sport sense, practice is necessary. That doesn't mean that you can't be a naturally good horseback rider, but the sport requires more.
I ride western reining, and my "friend" thinks a pony ride means she can do full fledge gallops, I mean I do slidestops spins and hard core riding, I totally can ride, who ever thinks its not a sport, and its easy. Think again.

It is hard for people that want to do harder things obviously. Im working on half-pass as we speak and you have to do 8 things at once while keeping your seat and watching your horse (doesn't help Im riding a half-draft thats a cubby slow-poke :P) I have had a horse fall on me, a horse jump 5 feet and pull me off. For anyone that thinks its easy, its not... we work our ASSES off to get where we want and then work more to get even higher. Its a LIFELONG learning process. I have a friend that rides Grand Prix and even she is still learning
