  • And Wes's riffs are out of this world. Wes is creative just because some dude like vai can play fast solos dont mean shit, guitar also pans out to rhythm and groove

  • You guys are douchebags! Y'all are all cookie cutter your all like Steve vai this and that, SHUT THE FUCK UP!! Wes Borland has more rhythm and groove than Vai. Vai is cocky and is the actual asshole, I like Steve vai but I'd choose Wes over him any day

  • wich is the name of the song?

  • @TheEdwardHead clunk from 3dollar bill

  • even with THAT haircut he is my hero.

  • His music always sounds out of this world. Like he is an alien. amazing.

  • So he was the one after Steve Vai in that video... one old life question answered =P

  • does anyone know where i can get a pic of his guitar

  • He looks like the feels good man frog

  • who paints their nails

    ,btw go SRV !

  • I had this video when I bought an Ibanez and it was hilarious to watch guys like Vai and Petrucci shred like crazy.. and then he plays this and looks like a douche who plays in a high school rock band.. like I was at the time LOL Gave me lots of confidence :)

  • this guy's nose looks like a chode.

  • Undercuts were the shit back in the 90's! You seen a fucker sporting a undercut you knew he was hard as fuck!

  • Wes u look like shit man!

  • fuck....string gauge???

  • I like the guitar! Does anybody know what kind it is?

  • @MrChkA its an Ibanez in RG shape.

  • his hair is......well his playing is epic!!!

  • good old vhs

    Miss the 90's

  • What a hair cut! :L

  • even back then he was a fucking genius guitarist....so bad people underrate him to be honest he's fucking brilliant....he made Limp Bizkit pretty much with his riffs in my opinion :/

  • One of the most beautiful things I have ever heard. It's too bad this passage got lost in production and therefore never really got to shine.

  • That is not clunk

  • @junkman134 It's clunk, Its just very faint in the song, that you can barely here it

  • @ImJayyy I listen to the song over and over, It might have been an early demo what time in the song does this riff occur?

  • @junkman134 It starts at the time of 1:50 in the song, and of course it's going to sound different because it's going to be more polished

  • i love this!!!!!!!

  • Tool style

  • what song is that ?

  • @remysterhahn clunk

  • his guitar is really beat up

  • how old was he back then??

  • @cultshakere Around 22yo.

  • awesome

  • What guitar is it ?

  • @tomek9619

i think its an ibanez rg 7620 or another 7 string from one of the first series.

  • if you are as good and unique of a guitar player as Wes who cares what your hair looks like lol. Wes is my Number ONE favorite guitar player of all time all time.

  • what song is this?

  • @frigginsweet123 clunk

  • @frigginsweet123 Clunk

  • He´s Lookin like De Milchelis xD

  • bitchin hair!

  • @LinkinMuseKnoT93 And nu metal actually have good dynamics! Especially Limp Bizkit, like when they go heavy from like a verse or something it's so effective. But metalcore's just fucking stale.

  • i wonder if he regrets being original. um, no

  • wes is like my idol, but is it just me who thinks he looks like he belongs inside world of warcraft here?

  • @BrandtCooley

no way undercuts were all the rage at the time. i dont regret mine lol!

  • That guitar strap is awesome. I want one.

  • @BrandtCooley Maybe he would regret cutting his hair. It was great. I love him with LONGER hair BEST

  • Man the 90s were awesome, everyone dressed how they wanted instead of looking like dickhead scene kids or hipsters. Not to mention the music was brutal with a beautiful simplicity, unlike today where everyones like OMG TECHNICALS.

  • @RossWildish yea man, everyone only bases people now on how technical they are now and its quantity over quality now, i want all this stuff back, i want to band to sound like the music from the 90s as well, music at it's highest point.

  • @Blitzzkreigg technical music has it's place, but there is simplicity in beauty. Thats what made nu metal great imo.

  • @RossWildish yea, technical music has its place, that i can agree, and the simplicity and mixing rap and metal is what made nu metal great, mixing the 2 most contrary styles to make one killer style that rocked the 90s, now its like it you dont do arpeggiated riffing or soloing you suck, or if you listen to metalcore, deathcore or nu metal you're a faggot. i just miss nu metal and i wanna help as a fellow musician and bring it back the throne in music that it rightfully deserves.

  • @Blitzzkreigg Exactly, and numetal was more than rap and metal anyway, lots of bands went further than that and combined other styles. SLipknot added traits of death metal (Whether people want to believe that or not, its true), Mushroomhead are shock rock and bands like Seether and Breaking Benjamin are heavily grunge influenced. I'll always love numetal, its far more diverse tha any genres about at the moment.

  • @RossWildish Yea, it was way much more, and about Slipknot, only gay people deny that they put death metal into nu metal, and its so diverse and interesting because each band tries to be creavitive from eachother and you get all these interesting mixes, ill always love nu metal and ill always compose nu metal.

  • @RossWildish to true man..too true!

  • @RossWildish you got that right!

  • @BrandtCooley Dude, but that haircut is awesome...

  • i've always wondered why anyone gets that haircut. it never looks cool

  • @BrandtCooley those haircuts were the shit back in the early 90s man.... I don't know how old you are but if you were old enough to remember you would know lol

  • @vallo220 Oh trust me, I have plenty pictures of me in that era I regret. Ha

  • nice guitar strap :D

  • every genius has a bad haircut at some point in time ... einstein had one too ..

  • @TheAvi8a nah the hair cut rulz!! lol

  • awww, look at Wes go!!

  • that may be the most ridiculous hair dew ive ever seen

  • @ryanD311 ha ha yeah it is!! sad thing is i had this same fuckin' haircut around this time. LAME. Oh well you live you learn.

  • is he using a quarter for a pick?

  • Nice Belt, Wes)

  • thats called "SKILLS"

  • where can i find full video with other people like casares vai etc.?

  • @AlexakisKochetakis youtube lol

  • WRONG.

  • lol he always lookes faded back in the

    90's XD

  • put this video on at 0:05 and limp bizkit - clunk at 1:51 then you play them at the same time.

  • listen to the song clunk at 1:51 and you are going to here the riff

  • my fault... two highs ... 1st and 2nd strings

  • two low e strings

  • can anybody tell me whats the name of this guitar please

  • it's the high E's notes that are the same

    soooooo from

    E A D G B E E down one and a half step

    so = C# F# B E G# C# C#

  • 2 strings tunned the same huh?? well now i understand why he went back to 6 string guitars i guess his style that way

  • tenia cara de drogadicto xD pero el estilo siempre fue igual de bueno

  • to me him a haed are my guitar idols...i think there bout equal

  • Wes uses a 6 strings guitar in the first LB album tunned in C#.

  • 7 string on that vid... check 0:17 u can count 'em...

  • i was just curious do you know what is the tuning for his 7 string?

since the 7 string low string is B did he make it higher to C#?

cause yeah ur right in three dollar bill y'all he iuses 6 string guitars tunned in C#

  • 3dby was 7 string...

  • Wes had a strange tuning with his 7 strings.

Instead of tuning to a low B like normal, he basically added an extra high C# string. Think of it this way, its like a 6 string guitar with 2 high E strings tuned the same. Very unusual.

  • Stephen Carpenter of Deftones used the same technique with the two high E's when he started using 7 Strings songs from their first album that were of Standard Tunning.

  • what song did he play???

  • It's a part from "Clunk" from Three dollar bill y'all

  • Why does everyone think he is better than Head?

  • Dont understand what you guys think is so good about that...

  • it' good because its a new style!

  • lol

I listened like 100 times clunk and i dont found this part in the song.

  • haha me too, never found this part

  • luvin the bettie page strap!

  • not meaning to be insulting or nething cos i love this guy! but 0:01 he looks like he has downs syndrome! LMAO!

  • He looked like such a weedhead back then

  • from the good days!

  • He Had Mullet

  • yeah,when he uses 6-string guitars...thats a 7 string...

  • Thats the Real WES BORLAND THE NEW SUCKS

  • He just got old.

    It's natural.

  • sorry, i thought he was the same person. obviously not lol

  • I love it when he says,"Three dollar bill yall", you can totally tell he wasn't THAT down with the Limp stuff even back then.

  • wat tuning dose he use

  • wow!!he was better before than now

  • fred and lethal shaved around his head as a prank when they all got drunk on ottos birthday (Significant Other era). This is on the DVD "poop", aka Results May vary special edition dvd

  • Sorry i meant TDBY era

  • Heh, that's pretty great. I'm glad it was a prank.

  • this guy here is a fucking genius

  • Yes

  • I would like to agree with Hashwizard.

  • I love the sound of his guitar. Wes Borland rocks!

  • what song is that from? i dont remember it and i loved that shit when i was a teenager.

  • Those chords sound close to "Sour"..

PD: I think Wes is hotter nowadays :)..

  • wow. here hes picking the guitar and with sour hes using a finger tapping method. i dont think those two songs sound anything alike

  • I said Chords..

  • it`s good

  • I wish this tune was more pronounced in Clunk...it's simple but good

  • I have the same trousers that my brother give me

  • You're so unique.

  • lol

  • limp bizkit and wes borland foreverrrr dude

  • What is the name of this song?

  • he said clunk

  • from the begining of the video to 0:04 was kinda gay!

  • thats cuase he really is. were do you think the name limp bizkit came from? its a circle jerk and the last one to spludge on the biscuit has to eat it. pretty sick huh?

  • your fucking retarded.

    do research.

  • lol damn dog i wanna play that ...jk

  • wow so he was about 18 in this video.

cause 3dollar bill came out in 97 and he was born in 75

  • that would make him 22 you idiot!

if he was 18 in the video he would have had to been born in 79 or 80

  • yes I am an idiot

  • hahah you tell em

  • OWNT FUCKFACE XD

  • nigga n00b got pwned!!!!!

  • yo fuckers he says its from clunk it aint no fuckin solo fuck you wes is the fuckin man

  • now days i see most of the mexican kids with that same hair cut

  • my brother had the same haircut its like long hair with a bowl cut..its funny

  • Yngwie Malmsteen has no soul

  • amen to that

  • Ok retards, this is clearly not a solo... as it says nothing about one anywhere... and he actually states this is from a song from on of their albums... no complaining please.

  • bring the solos but keep ur pants

  • is that just some solo, or is it a limpbizkit song?

  • limp bizkit sucked, mainly because of fred durst. the other members of the band had talent.

  • how does he look like hes on acid do you kno what that even looks like?

  • i wish ibanez made lefty 7s.

  • Omg its really him ... I didn't recognize him xD ... His hair is awful, but that's my opinion. My fav guitar player <3

  • he will go back, just give it time, trust me

  • he was a major part in lb my fav guitarist ever...he really is sensational. he like many guitarists are a creative force in music. idc what anyone says limp bizkit rules muther fuckers. if u hate it okay. go ahead idc. motivaton babbababababay!

  • he said he liked playing in lb until choclate starfish

  • why the hell does this video never play when i try to watch it?

  • emotion? he wasn't even happy being in limp bizkit. the only emotion he displayed through his works is the hate for his own crappy band and his hatred for Fatass Durst.

  • lmao, i second that

  • lmao, i 'THIRD' that!

  • wasn't happy with being in limp bizkit?! WHAT ABOUT ALL THE COVER DESIGNS HE DID FOR SIGNIFICANT OTHER?!!!! THINK BEFORE YOU COMMENT DUMB ASS!!!!!

  • cover designs make people happy? ever heard of the statement "money talks"?

you obviously don't know much about the lives of the members of LB when they're not on stage. don't let the pre-pubescent rage get the best of you. until then, continue making comments without doing research.

  • i designed nost of the album covers for limpbizkit

  • ZMG!! LYKE RLY?!?! =O

  • Wes did not design the cover for Significant Other. Think before you comment, dumb ass.

  • wes rocks! deal with it. =P
