EREZ is a Genius and has found in J. S. B.'s art the best medium to express it. Yes, it's deeply moving the performance, but, in my opinion, the "help" added by the strings is absolutely unnecessary and easy-emotioned intended: Bach would - I've no doubt - have deleted it.

Mr. Erez is so charming. He not only plays the music, but he also feels the music, and that is simply because he not only plays with his hands, but he also plays with his heart.

He has such an irresistible appeal, that I couldn't buy merely one of his CDs, I bought ALL of them. And they are all fabulous!

I can't imagine how this must have sounded when beethoven played it. The soft parts in contrast to the loud, since he was notorious for breaking every piano he ever touched.. Must have been amazing

I have a confession to make. I have listened to this piece I don't know how many times and have not even begun to get tired of it. I love the way Tzvi Erez interpets what he plays, and the way he plays. Check out Bach Badenerie 1067 and Invention 13. I'm going to his web site to download my favorites for my own cd to play in my car.

@thehal698 - I agree. His hands were made to play the piano and they are nice to watch. I also changed some of my fingering to match his and it made the piece easier to play. I learn so much simply by watching and listening to his videos. I also purchased two of his CD's and they are fabulous! And the sound quality is to die for. I will purchase more because I'm a huge fan now.
