Oh come on... This decision is very very arguable. It's interesting to see a fighter from different angle enter the higher regions of the K1. Thus far it's been completely dominated by either Dutch fighters, or fighters following the 'Dutch Method' of punch and kick combos, ever since they threw out the regular boxers and karate-based champions.

But don't go pretending such racist crap. Tomorrow Petrosyan might run into a hard punch and go down. It remains a jury sport, with lucky KO's.

i think andy didn't have the right game plan for this fight. Instead of rushing forward punching petro in the head, he should do more low kick to chop down petro leg, then step in with the liver body shot which he was famous for, then followed with the ko headshot. andy seemed frustrated with petro keep running away and clinching. But next fight, he should focus on low kick and body punch.

In my point of view Gevorg won the match (Souwer fell down more the one time). It was a tough fight for both. By the way Souwer is a legend, he have much more experience, and one match doesn't make the history. Next time is possible that Petrosyan will lose (but I hope not).

Giorgio has shown everybody that he can fight against the bests fighters of the world and win at only 24 years old and without being living in thayland (like Buakaw). This is more than a victory for me.

Petrosyan clearly won the third round and the extra round. the first round was or for petrosyan or a draw, the second round or a draw or for Souwer.

Souwer had a better control of the ring, but Petrosyan scored more points and did more damage.
