This is the second annual Chicago Jazz Festival in 1980 downtown in grant park. I was there it was a great jazz show. Also they had Sun Ra, Muddy Waters, Lionel Hampton and many more and it was and still is free to the public in the same place. It is much larger now with four stages and an art festival and food and wine section. The Chicago Jazz Festival is the largest free jazz festival in the United States
