  • Is that why you explain this on youtube rather than in an ordinary text blog - the human element?

  • @ValAktaion LOL Partly. Actually, if you're interested, you can find a transcript of all the videos on my blog at wordplay-kmweiland.blogspot.com

  • very cool. As always, you manage to find the most important nuggets of wisdome from unexpected sources. Thanks, KM! :o)

  • @jett71 Thanks for watching! I'm glad you found the video useful.

  • Great video!

  • @Leonard33ful Thanks for watching!

  • Ah, woman, I could tell you war stories! Writers who have nascent space ships, folks who have characters secretly embodying other characters outer and inner self and both first person narrators keep switching off. The stuff I have seen from writers so impressed with their never-before-thought-of-worlds. Try as I can to tell them that perhaps the story should start with something human...they keep saying that helping the reader to like a story is pandering to unintelligent readers. Good post.

  • @scifiwritir1 I love spaceships, love mistaken identities, love never-before-thought-of worlds. But even more, I LOVE characters. Give me a good character, and I'm with you to the end, even if you don't have spaceships. It's not necessarily true the other way around.
