You're nails don't break when you bite because they are so strong. If you start to suck or nibble or just bite a little on them, they soften up. That what I did when I was in like 4th grade. Aha~!

To strenghten nails: Vit A, Omega 3-6-9. Also u can take a hair + nail multivitamen. Do not use ur nails as tools to open things. Invest in a nail strenghtening polish- I use Maybelline Salon Manicure -Anti Breakage Base -Maybellein Forever Strong +iron-maybelline salon manicure ultra strong 3 in 1. To strenghten nails keep them shortish by filing them regularly. U will get some breakage 4 the 1st few weeks of doing this. The vits are vip!

Nice tutorial, but you should either file your nails oval or square, because they don't look very even. its just a tip, i think your nails would look much better that way. =-)

i have a tip:

i got a french manicure at the nail salon yesterday, and the lady painted about half of my nail white in an upward motion (it looked sloppy at first) but then she got a tiny bowl full of a liquid (im guessing it was polish remover) and used a brush in an upward motion starting at the bottom of my nail to make a straight line. then she applied the pinkish polish just on the bottom part of my nails, not over the white, & my nails look the best they have EVER looked!

Try using an old white eyeliner that your not gunna use again trace the shape of the tip on the tip of your nail and paint white polish over

I bite my nails, which is bad, I know. So, I try to stop doing that and just let my nails grow, and they look so beautiful, but then they start breaking. When one nail breaks, ok, that's not such a disaster, but then the other ones start breaking too. After that, I loose my temper and just bite the rest of them off... :(((

I was wondering if maybe you could help me. I love your nails, they make me jealous for how long and strong they are. Mine are very fragile, they only get to a certain length and then chip or break or peel. And once they're a some-what decent length, they like bend, because they're not strong at all. I've tried numerous nail polish's that say they should help strengthen your nails and such, but nothing works. Is there anything you would recommend?

A good way to get your nails strong are to take vitamins, take in lots of calcium, and/or use a product like nail life or nail magic. There strengthening "clear nail polishes." Thats what I have to use since mine peel (eew!)

one thing you could try to grow your nails out is putting on a nail growth nail polish such as the miracle nail growth by sally hansen, it surprisingly works and then on top of that wear a nail biting prevention nail polish on that you can get from any pharmacy! I'm not sure if it works 100% yet, but i'm trying it out!

white tip, but if it isnt as straight, i get a brush, and
