You can try hi-lighting the return tracks (multi-track select) then grab and drag to the right to minimize the width of all your Return tracks, You can do this by clicking on the edge of the Return's title bar while holding option>then drag.
You could also save this as a blank template with multiple Returns active to be called up anytime you wish.

great tutorial, my drum racks always end up huge cause Im making drum and bass so this should help my cpu levels woop!

Are you referring to the Returns in Drum Racks or within the Track View above in the Session View interface?
