I always took the Golden Gun or Golden PP7 to kill Ourumov and then have fun shooting endless bad guys with Trevelyan

If only games these days had these fun, memorable glitches. These days when a game glitches it's just WOOPS THE GAME FROZE RESTART THE CONSOLE.

Goldeneye's glitches were almost more fun to play with then the multiplayer mode.

I found this glitch very easily, simply through curiosity. I was about 9 or 10 and I wanted to know where the hell all those soldiers came from. So I ran back when the alarm went off, just to see where they come from. To my surprise, no Orumov, but instead I got an endless barrage of enemies. What later followed was a bloody war fought with me and Alec vs the russians. Pretty epic.

Something similar happens in the Goldeneye Movie, 006 stays in the inside of the building when it explodes, then he's Janus and appears in a place with many statues. (The same as the game)

hahahahah yeah! That thing of the memory limitation on the cartridge fucked up a lot of features of many games! If the N64 would have worked with CDs instead of cartridges, the PSX would have been beaten by the N64 very quickly, technically, the N64 was way more advanced than the PSX

The way I killed orumouv all those years ago was stand on the stairway he goes down and block him while shooting him with the AK. If you keep shooting long enough he starts to take damage then dies.

You could use one of the remote mines to take him out also...and also you can go up the stairs to the upper level room twards the back, and for some reason no one can get through that door...so you can just stand there and waste guys as they stand outside the door

@RandomlyMaximum there are push button codes you put in with the controller and they unlock them on the cheat menu on the game. Search them on google and you should find them. The hard way is look beat the right level on the right difficulty in a certain amount of time. Thats the right way to do them. Or Gameshark.

if you have the all weapons cheat, go to the door before the alarm sound and get out the golden gun and shoot orumouv when he comes than you can also have hours having a soviet slaughterfest with 006

The actual name of the gun is the Walter PPK. Rare changed the names of all the weapons due to legal reasons.

Gold PP7 does the same damage as the Golden gun, but you get 7 shots instead of 1.

Actually, there is a way to avoid the alarm all together. If you leave the room and go back into the laboratory area right after it says "objective C" completed, Trevelen will say something like "Come back James, don't run away from your duty!" Once he says that, go back into the bottling room, but stay above, on the platform. Shoot 006 before he sees you. Wait until his body has disappeared. Then you can go down, blow up the tanks, the alarm won't go off, and you won't fail the mission.
