  • dude you are so obviously a chronic masturbater

  • You are Awsome! So smart.

  • very good, funny, simple and yet instructional video !!

The E string is out of TUNE !!! HAHAHAHAH

  • You may add a little steel spring to one end of the string just to make it tight for straight cutting.

  • @Bizbet BRILLIANT!! that is a great idea. Thank you.

  • Like a hot knife throw butter man kipkay said that

  • @markus8909 haha i know thats why i said it. his video was the foundation to this video and this tool

  • OH THE MUSTACHE ¬¬

  • i made it when i was 10 year old

  • haha.... good instructional vid!

  • Great design. Thanks. My project is to cut foam for 'lost foam' casting aluminum. I will probably make my foam cutter about twice your design, but with the same idea. Thanks again!!

  • funny video and nice work on the foam cutter

  • I'm making a hot foam cutter. This was helpful and the video was entertaining. And as a female, you are easy on the eyes. thanks!

  • @cjthebean well thank you very much. I appreciate the feedback.

  • @belbel77 hmm. thats quite the interesting observation. thanks. haha! ... i don't wear eyeliner. lol

  • VERY VERY BAD VIDEO

  • @maurozzodj ha ha ha. i appreciate your humor

  • Hey Cocoa, you can use almost any power source; there are videos of people using their RC airplane batteries. You could almost use a couple of D cell batteries. You don't have to have a powerful electric source-- like jg says, you only need a little electricity. Actually, his 2 amp battery charger would be the upper limit of the power you could use. More power than that might cause too much heat and flame, explosion, etc... Try a small power source first.

Good luck, and happy foam cutting!

  • @stevecraignet yes sir. i have been learning that when it comes to homemade doo hickies things get pretty flexible.

  • Man, I can't decide what's cooler... your device or your video. I guess you're slicing it both ways, eh? Well done!

  • Thanks for posting- the high E string..didnt even think of it, and I know ive got a pack here somewhere :)

  • @jsmythib well thank you very much for watching my video.

  • Hello jghanson25, thank you for your response, your help is much appreciated. I only bought the stuff to make the parts but have not bought the battery charger yet as I didn't know what it was so I am going to source it out next week. Thank you so much for your help. I will let you know how it goes, next is I have to get help from someone to put it together. :-)

  • @cocoahappy there are numerous ways to put these devices together. my design was just kind of a quick way to see if it would work. it does still work today but i am eventually gonna make a new and improved design. if you want to check out where i got the idea from you can. "Weekend Project: 5-Minute Foam Factory" with KipKay. his design is nice, simple, and efficient. that is the video. if there is anything else that i can help with i will be glad to do so. thank you

  • Hi there, I'm going to the hardware store and try to make this foam cutter following your instructions tomorrow. Sorry for the stupid question but what is a battery charger? Is it a car battery or something? Sorry I am a cake decorator and this foam cutter is the perfect tool for me to shape my styrofoams without using a saw which makes such a huge mess leaving all the loose bits of foam dust scattered everywhere which is a nightmare to clean up.

This is the most amazing invention. Thanks.

  • @cocoahappy first of all, thanks for using my video. im not sure if im too late to help you out but ill try my best. umm. the battery charger i used was one that is used for charging small car batteries or even ATV batteries. as long as you use a power source that puts out the voltage and amperage necessary to heat up the wire. and it should have aligator clips like the little ones i had. i hope i helped. if you have any questions about anything else feel free to ask. thank you.

  • What size wire

  • @Comfortkingach i just used the tiniest string (E) off of a guitar. i first used a string that had already been used and broken off of one of my electrics but now i try to use new ones from a package. acoustic or electric. it doesnt really matter. as long as its one of the tiny ones. preferably E. if you want to get really technical with it, you could actually go to a hardware store and get some .010 diameter - 7 ohms/ft resistance nichrome wire. hope i helped!! thank you.

  • sweet mustach dude I mean that

  • @Comfortkingach thanks alot man. geez. no one ever says anything good about that thing anymore. i really do appreciate it.

  • thanks.

your video very cleverly done good job

  • @theboomersmom thank for viewing. i hope my video was helpfull.

  • thats sick! thatd work great for rc planes. like the crappy foamies.

  • @Suicideispainless47 dude yeah. i even made a little plane already. just a glider but its still pretty sweet. i plan on making all kinds of cool stuff. maybe ill do a video to show some creations.

  • Awesome! That looks so useful! For like Styrofoam. Um Umm Um Ahm. Uhmm. ummm. lol (: You're the cutest(:
