Craft/stamp/scrapbook room redo Aug 09

I keep wondering about what you do that can possibly rationalize having all this stuff. You could support an entire orphanage with this kind of an investment. I am a very active crafter and just wandered on to all these women bragging about their stuff. I now wonder how my friends and I are able to make the things we do. Obviously, I'm shocked. I couldn't use all that stuff if I crafted from daylight to dark which I manage to do with a mimiscule amount of stuff.

I love the fact that you have a spot for the kids, i think that is important, i am a mother of 3 and have 2 grandchildren, not to mention nieces and they all love making things, but with the economy the way it is, it is hard just to purchase for myself and i just dont have enough for the kids to chose from,you can never collect enough, they would love your room..thanks for sharing.

some of the stamps in the CD holders look to be regular rubber stamps. How did you "unmount" them to get this accomplished? I have loads of stamps on wood blocks and would love to get them into the CD cases (I have tons of those too!)

absolutely amazing ...I like the making memories wall units you have.. maybe I might get one of those as I don't have as large of a room but have a little bit of wall space in my craft room.. perhaps that would help me with some of my storage. Those are Jetmax cubes. I bought mine at Michaels in the US. I don't think they sell to the UK. I don't know if there are any online sites that carry them that would ship there or not.

The rails my punches are on are Bygel rails from IKEA. I think the binder you are talking about was likely they ones that held my Spellbinders dies? Please let me know if that is what you were looking for or if you have any other questions. Thanks for watching!

I have one drawer that is Stampin' Up! ribbon (I am a demonstrator). All of the other ribbon is from various big box stores, LSS, etc.

Very nice room. But how can you find something when you need it? How can you possibly remember where something is and how does that something come to mind?

It is actually really easy to find what I need since most similar items are near each other and all of the drawers have labels. If it wasn't organized then it would be hard to find.
