I know this is an old video but I just bought a flat top brush today and was really nervous about using it to apply foundation. This helped A LOT! first of all I think your skin looked great when you were done. the over all color was very even and natural looking.I am curious about lips though or the lack of attention that the younger generation gives to appying lip color to the lips. @rwolfe40 the rule is to generally accentuate one or the other. So if you have amazing eyes and want to draw attention to them you make them right up. If you want to draw attention to your mouth (like on a hot dinner date) you wear simple eye make up and accentuate the mouth. If you put too much on both you risk looking like a $2 hooker

@TheDarcy321 same i have really rosey cheeks so i know how u feal. and few things that may help is first to drink tons of water it will drain all the toxins out and also make sure you the right type of cleanser. One that is preferrably not to harsh on skin.

I have to respect you and give you credit for making these 'foundation routine' and 'skincare routine' videos. Most wouldn't, and we all know there are steps taken before eye make up is done.

Plus, I think it builds your fan base I am sure, and adds character to yourself. I know I myself appreciate your courage and trust in us, because I suffer from acne, and definitely acne scars [since having acne since I was 12 and now 25] and the biggest struggle I have is covering those scars and acne

I have severe acne scars&blemishes, on my chin &forehead-these certain areas tend to be extremely dry&start to flake so whenever I apply foundation.IF I dont properly moisturize,my chin will start cracking through the cover up&then it starts to look blotchy as well.

But in reality, by the end of the day, my skin starts to look a bit shiny&by that I mean oily.Which I'm pretty sure I have oily skin.But I have dry parts as well.

@beneathyourlove It sounds like you have combination skin. I would recommend Covergirls clean liquid foundation for combination skin. It works well, and my skins oily too, so i find that it stays on all day. Also try loose powder over it to set it and mosturize well!

I dont like Fit Me foundation,personally, because it doesnt cover my acne scars & other serious areas but if you have fairly clear skin & just need a touch of color then its fine. I do not think you are ''over the top''. Besides if you look natural but not too caked up then it should look fine. I secretly apply two coats of the Maybelinne Liquid Moose Foundation (the one with the pump) I really love that one. People tell me my skin looks very natural but they dont know my secret :)

Her skin does not look better without foundation for one simple reason: it looks dull. Yes, her skin is beautiful, but it doesn't have the radiance that the foundation gave her. Makeup isn't always meant to hide things, it's meant to enhance.

actually i use a green conceler on my red spots, and it works fantasticly, i just use a little bit so it isn't cakey, and a light layer of foundation on top and they're almos not there. so no, your wrong in my case.

Where did you get that rack you have your shoes in? I have been looking all over the place recently, trying to find a good rack or cubby that will also keep my shoes covered from dust. Most I have found claim to hold a good number of pairs, but a lot of the reviews with them say the cubbie sections won't hold a pair of higher heeled shoes. Yours looks like it would hold most of the higher heels I have.

My skin used to be oily but now it seems kind of dry & cakey around my mouth & under my eyes after applying & setting my MAC Studio Fix Fluid & MAC Studio Finish Concealer with MAC translucent finishing powder. I do moisturize & prime before that. Not sure what else to do. Any tips/suggestions on how to avoid dry/cakey makeup? (I do need really FULL COVERAGE by the way) ;o)
