Smokin! Still gives me goosebumps! Chelsea Kane danced this same tango with Mark Ballas and the same music last night. It didn't seem fair. All I could think of was Gilles and Cheryl dancing this. That music should be retired.

When the Judge name Lynn stands up to applaud you....you've done quite well....and Gilles and Cheryl performed that dance to perfection.....which means they SHOULD HAVE WON!!!! There should be "No Phone In Votes" only the judges and the celebrities abilities. Lynn was so right about saying at the end of the competition that Gilles should have won!

my opinion is kinda biased however, i loved shawn and thought she totally deserved to win but at the same time i pretty much love anyone whose partnered with mark, and i dont root for anyone whose with cheryl cause not that i have anything against her, but i think she gets too many of the celebrities with a fair advantage too many times

Thanks so much for a good quality version of Gilles' tango finally. This is the encore. I prefer the first version however, as danced on the night of competition, as the passion and intensity were so much better then. That is important, even though this one may be a little more perfect technically. They have already won and the acting and feeling were not as good in this version. Cheryl was actually laughing at 0:35 in this one! Pity. She should be so proud, however. Best DWTS dance ever!!!

It was my favorite dance, too. I liked the first performance the best; they were more focused and serious (which is required in the A.T.) because they were being judged. I couldn't download that one, though, because my TiVo recording got corrupted. They had incredible, sizzling chemistry. If he wasn't married who knows what would have happened with them!

I think he is very professional and due to his looks, have been put in sexy steamy scenes, he has shown us he is in real life a nice, caring family man. It is in fact not fair for the public to continue to treat him just as a sex symbol, ignoring his true talent. The incredible, sizzling chemistry in his dances showed the great acting talent he has. He acts the part required in the dances but I think he really respects and is grateful to Cheryl. Hope he will get proper acting roles now.

Gilles and Cheryl deserved the trophy, no question about it, They were breathtaking in their performances. What a pity, in the end the voters picked American pie over French cheesecake. What a real downer.

I believe they deserved the trophy, too. One thing I really like about Gilles is that (on camera, at least) he is very humble and self-effacing, and I believe very grateful for the wonderful exposure this show gave him. I think we're going to be seeing a lot more of him in the future.

he was robbed. hmmm, it is true, he is now really a "leading man" and i cant wait to see him on the big and small screen soon. the pasa has always been my fave dance until i saw gilles dance the Argentine tango, i can watch this a million times and never get tired of it.

I really wanted Gilles to win, but I had a feeling "America's Sweetheart" would win. Americans are loyal when it comes to their Olympic gold medalists. I really think that he is going to get leading man roles now because he demonstrated on his show -- without a doubt -- that not only can he dance really well . . . but he can also be a compellng leading man.

The song is from the Mr. & Mrs. Smith Score. The song is called El Tango De Los Assassinos (Assassins Tango). I LOVE the part near the end where the music intensifies. The song was written by John Powell. Awesome.
