Steel Door Armor is an Anti-Home Invasion door sleeve. With an Easy 3 Step installation, this product was invented by a Home Security Consultant film after a large demand from its clients. It has been tested by convicted home invaders before bringing to the public. It can be installed by even the most unskilled do-it-yourselfers, plus single moms and even the elderly.
buildings have the advantage that you only have to worry about the door itself , that place you live have tons of entrances , but the gun is pretty good option and a good and very loud alarm ,that way they wont stay long
Thanks for all the comments. It WAS a bad night, but I am glad it ended before it could actually begin. As for the comment about what part of town I live in, I actually live in a quiet older neighborhood with many retired families near me. It's really odd to have this kind of thing happen, but in the past few years, I've already been hit twice. Another reason to have my semiautomatic on the night stand every night.
Shoulda let them come crawling halfway in, and then pound the crap out of them. I'd definitely hurt whomever it was.... but I would have had my kodak v570 camera ready. Yeah.
strykeagle - yeah, you wouldn't want to scare the guy off right away. You'd wait until they're halfway in, so they're kinda stuck in the middle of the window frame, and then you give a few choice kicks and take a few teeth out. You get extra credit if you break a nose.
Oh of course not, I'd let one in and then he would become best buddies with a steel baseball bat (You know, for extra torque) I wouldn't want blood on the carpet, so I would try to swing them OUT of my house first. There would be some clean-up involved (fractured skull, broken nose, busted eye-socket, loss of vision in one eye) But I think he would live, Now if he would only stop bleeding on the carpet..

I would have let one of them get half way in then hold him hostage LOL or if there were a group of them I would still hold one for ransom...
