I wish they'd take some of their movie ideas from games more often or at least hire the same people who write the stories for video games to do some movie scripts. I bet there'd be a lot more better quality films around.

The only people who could possibly think this game was any good are the people who didn't play the originals for the N64. I'm not even sure this can be counted as a Turok game. Sure, there's dinosaurs and bows and arrows, but where are the Oblivion at? Where are the Dinozoids at? Where is anything that Turok fans grew to love at? The makers of this game simply threw together a first person shooter, called it Turok, and hid all their faults behind pretty looking knife finishers.

@aDinoSupremacist, they added the dinozoids because it presented a fresh new enemy and backed the setting for the storyline. Turok 3, though questionably cheesy, still followed through with the story very well, the Oblivion in the second game were just mini bosses until the 3rd game came out and introduced them as the REAL threat to the earth. But, Turok Evolution is where it all went down hill, not that it was a bad game, but it changed to much of the story. Now this abomination exists.
@ aDinoSupremacists, I should also take the time to mention that there's nothing wrong with wanting to kill dinosaurs, but Turok games go far beyond the simple maming of prehistoric animals. The Turok games are supposed to be filled with extreme amounts of plot, sci-fi and ancient lore, something this game semi pulls off, but compared to what a Turok game's standards are, totally lacks. As a first person shooter, it's a good game, seriously, I played it. But as a Turok game, it FUCKING SUCKS!

@mosu95 turok 2008 was crap, we all had grown up with loving the N64 versons and so on I love Turok 2 and 3 childhood memories. Yet the 08 version didnt stand up to what we had all hoped it would be now its in the modern era. We see batman arkham, gears of war, and halo all making success but with turok you just foget about it, it wasnt special amaing or enjoyable enough for you to want to keep playing on it time and time again and for me it isnt as fun to play as thos on the N64.

I heard rumors around the time that this game was released that they would be doing a Turok movie. I'd love to see it. Played all the Turok games since the 1st one. This game wasn't perfect, and I didn't like that it changed the story so much, but as far as fun? Fuck yeah! I could knife dinosaurs all day haha. And the fight against the T-Rex was epic! Comics are good too btw.

Turok 2 was incredibly imaginative and well done. It has enough material to fuel a good movie script for an action adventure.
It combines spirituality with technology. You have Adon, your epitome of evil villain, and a ton of epicness.

@aDinoSupremacist, they added the dinozoids because it presented a fresh new enemy and backed the setting for the storyline. Turok 3, though questionably cheesy, still followed through with the story very well, the Oblivion in the second game were just mini bosses until the 3rd game came out and introduced them as the REAL threat to the earth. But, Turok Evolution is where it all went down hill, not that it was a bad game, but it changed to much of the story. Now this abomination exists.

@ aDinoSupremacists, I should also take the time to mention that there's nothing wrong with wanting to kill dinosaurs, but Turok games go far beyond the simple maming of prehistoric animals. The Turok games are supposed to be filled with extreme amounts of plot, sci-fi and ancient lore, something this game semi pulls off, but compared to what a Turok game's standards are, totally lacks. As a first person shooter, it's a good game, seriously, I played it. But as a Turok game, it FUCKING SUCKS!

i remember multiplayer in the original turok with poison arrows that ake your enemy puke and die. and if you're not sniping its like not possible to kill anyone because the old physics and graphics make you super fast so you're both running back and forth trying to shoot the other one and its not working LOL.

@mosu95 turok 2008 was crap, we all had grown up with loving the N64 versons and so on I love Turok 2 and 3 childhood memories. Yet the 08 version didnt stand up to what we had all hoped it would be now its in the modern era. We see batman arkham, gears of war, and halo all making success but with turok you just foget about it, it wasnt special amaing or enjoyable enough for you to want to keep playing on it time and time again and for me it isnt as fun to play as thos on the N64.

I heard rumors around the time that this game was released that they would be doing a Turok movie. I'd love to see it. Played all the Turok games since the 1st one. This game wasn't perfect, and I didn't like that it changed the story so much, but as far as fun? Fuck yeah! I could knife dinosaurs all day haha. And the fight against the T-Rex was epic! Comics are good too btw.

I realize that your comment was posted a month ago, but Soap was in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and this game, Turok, were released the same year not that far from each other. Two months apart at most. They just happened to look alike, so both you and Call of Duty "fan boys" are technically wrong.
