Clyde could jump from as far out as MJ. Forget where his foot was on that FT line dunk; it's clear from his forward momentum that he could have easily sailed another two feet through the air and still dunked it). However, I'm guessing his vertical leap was four or five inches less. At least in the dunk contests. I've seen him get up higher in games.

Juan, last time. That was a 360. A reverse 360 at that. Once you take that first step forward, the rotation begins. He didn't take a step towards the basket with his back to it. If he did, that would have been a 180. Watch VC's reverse 360 windmill dunk, and compare the two..

It wasn't a 180. A 180 would implied he did it facing away from the basket.

The inertia of going with the opposite hand of the actual motion, makes it look like the revolution was incomplete.

It's much harder than people think, which is why Vince Carters reverse 360 windmill made people go ape shit.

The reverse 360... That dunk is probably the most unappreciated of all time. The timing to pull that move off and to finish it, with your body mass pulling you away from the basket. But when you watch in real time, it just looks like another ordinary dunk. Funny thing about Clyde, he was a much better game dunker than he was contest wise.

Oh well, Clyde may have been blah in the dunk contests but he was unparalleled in actual gameplay, save for MJ. And in the end, he's got his ring; the likes of Nique and Kenny Walker can't say that.

The thing about Drexler is that he didn't have the distance or elevation Jordan had, at least not in the dunk contests anyway, and he lacked the power Nique had,.... so it was kinda unimpressive seeing Drexler dunk wedged in between Nique, MJ and Spud Webb all the time
