  • im not gonna lie i came here from COD and i will say they actually did a great job in making it look real but i have sparked a real interest in pripyat from watching these videos

  • "luetinet price, the meeting is underway"

  • we should wqalk around there at night!! that would be so cool!

  • Fifty thousand people used to live here, now its a ghost town

  • @Gencturk92 CoD nerd.

  • COROLIS EFFECT

  • its where S.T.A.L.K.E.R.s hide during emissions.

  • What??? There are peaple living in pripyat today? How do they buy food for example in the zone? Do they have water electicity and heat? How do they live in the zone???????????

  • Watch out for post mark radiation pockets, if you absorb too much...Your dead! I'm sorry but i had to say it xD

  • It's a bloody weather station, besides pripyat has about 90 inhabitants. In addition the radiation level just outside the reactor is only 3x higher than that an aeroplane passenger during flight.

  • Cpt macmillian and price have sex in there XD

  • I love it when People try to Compare CoD4 Prypyat Level with the Raelistic Situation there! laughing

  • what is it ???

  • reminds me of modern warfare just sayin

  • @RaGeSwAgE

Pripyat isnt based on Games, maybe its the other way around. So please, stop bitching around with your games.

  • @Allthesefkinsnakes

dude i wasnt bitchin man i thought this was prety cool so stop overreacting cause i post a comment thts y they are there!! I even subbed man so dont get so f'n mad over nothing

  • omg you hear birds on the background its seems that its never change there

  • What where you doing at my vacantion house?

  • You know, you probably shouldn't be in ANY part of Chernobyl, and Pripyat without a HAZMAT suit, especially the grassy areas. The grass contains the most radioactive waste.

  • What is it?!

  • 50,000 people used to live here...Now its a ghost town....

  • @ThaGamingStratagies COD quoting much ????

  • @ThaGamingStratagies fuck call of duty the piece of shit game it is

  • YOU DANG KIDS GET OFF MY RADIOACTIVE LAWN!!

  • @priceman141 lol

  • Search 'Half-life'. Radiation NEVER completely vanishes. There will be traces FOREVER. It is infinite.

  • @clarabailey1 yeah well theres traces of it everywhere, in your body, the keys you type on. its just diminished enough. also half life is a good game

  • Try to anticipate their movements.

  • @Zookie297 he only says that if you go in the radioactive areas or go too close to the spetsnaz soldiers

  • .... Thats either a Evac tunnel for the workers in the Cheronobyl Coffin Area aronud the plant a generaqtor for the Operating in Chernobyl or even a Squaate rFamily*Ppl who returned or setttled their*

  • you shouldnt be in chernoybel or prypyat you can get radiated so dont get into prypyat its very dangerous as capt.macmillian said "Theres radiation pockets all over this area if you absorb too much youre a dead man."

  • @Pwnage195 Thats a video game, and the nuclear disaster didn't happen yesterday you know. Much of the radiation is gone now.

  • @swoeen i know it was a long time ago but still i radiation stays for depending on the blast a long time so it can stay for centuries if strong enough

  • @swoeen ya, 20 years down, 19,980 more years tell its safe again

  • What is that??

  • Could it be a radiation monitering station or something?

  • Im guessing its an air duct from the cosntruction in the chernobyl NPP

OR A SECRET VERY LOUD ROOM! (most likely the first)

  • MacMillan: Are you daft?

  • To clean out the air duHH!....

  • 50,000 people used to live in this city now it's a ghost becuase of the Chernobyl explosion.

  • Did you see MacMillan or Price anywhere?

  • @Kahleren LMAOOOOO

  • HAHAHAHAHHAHAHHAAHAH good one!

  • that is strange lol, did you ever find out if someone lived in it?

  • im going in august. how is the weather there?

  • maybe someone lives there:D there is air condicion which clears air inside the building:D Or neutralises nuclear waste or something like that!

  • My guess is that it's one of the remote geiger-meters within the zone, there are several sheds like these that feed a central office with radiation levels, this is to quickly detect and leaks or more possibly a forest fire which can potentially release vast ammounts of radioactive particles into the air, spreading the contamination outside exlusion zone boundaries.

  • I wouldn't be walking around on the dirt/ brush/ leaves in Pripyat...radioactive dust is the main concern. Every step and you stir up more of it. Safest to stay on the pavement and wear a dust mask.

  • It's obvious you've never been to Pripyat. It's impossible to be there and not to walk on the brush and leaves

  • Do you see many visitors around chernobyl etc?

  • Too many...

  • I saw one touring bus.. But yeah, there are too many in my opinion.. People tend to mess around with stuff, thus ruining the place!

  • It's probably just a station. for SCIENCE!!!11

  • Pripyat, Chernobyl is a massive tourist attraction in Ukraine, most of the radon in the atmosphere has died down so its alot safer, but there are still pockets of high radiation around, and you are permitted to stay away from moss.

  • I'm 100% sure that now there are no people but there is a radiation still active.

  • that is a radioactive converter wich gives out pure solid gas

  • excuse me, but did u just say solid gas?

  • Crap!!! they found me and osama

  • @maddogwisconsin Lol, its funny to read this in 2011, Since osama got fucked by americans!

  • In before Bloodsucker jumps out and RIPS YOUR FUCKING HEAD OFF.

  • ;DDDD or zombie

  • lol :D yeah probably a monitoring station but still strange:D

  • what the hell is that

some kind of generator or some thing

    any idea ?

  • Also the structure in the movie has what looks like a radiation counter probe (foreground grey mounted cylinder w/ wire on bottom) and a directional radio antenna (UHF, back corner of building). The sound and round pipe is generator (and its exhaust) and the vent on the back looks like its for an air exchanger. Probably just a monitoring station.

  • Radiation isn't like a pile of shit where when you step in it...all of it sticks to you at once. In places like Pripyat, the radiation has had time (since 1986) to be washed away a bit by rains and radioactive dirt and whatnot has blown away or erroded. The human body can take a certain level of radiation before its a problem. You can't LIVE in Pripyat, but you can hang out and explore for a certain period of time before you move somewhere clean and let the body recover before going back.

  • How could you go there without getting Radioactive Poising?

  • There were bears that killed everyone.

  • lmfao

Nuclear Fallout, reactor blew up.. 23 years ago.. Lotsa badness..

The reactor let out the bears.. Reactor is russian for "Bear Zoo"

  • била мишка масакер!

  • there was a Nuclear Meltdown Which caused So much Radiation they had to be evacuated..

  • There are pockets of radiation all over this place...Moove..

  • "Are you daft? Stay out of the radiation areas..." *vision gets fuzzy*

  • oy i was looking for this in that game

  • @D3f11 you mother fucker pripyat is a real place not some fucking shit video game

  • @ewdennis L2 sense of humor. K thanks

  • @D3f11 hahahaha thats what says captain macmillian to lieuteneant price in call of duty 4

  • @D3f11 this is what says cpt.macmillian to lt.price when he enters radiation areas ahahhaha

  • @D3f11 fuck you call of duty douche bags

  • @dillonjbritt lol, tell us how you really feel

  • you could omly stay in the city for nolonger then 15 min

  • @323615955 Are you high? You can stay there a whole day.

  • military basr bro went there he saw it to its a military well i wouldnt say base but its a mix between a base and a checkpoint he got vid and pics

  • omg how did you get in there

  • Im not saying that its fake, but i get a felling that it is becouse isnt the nature there very, very radioactive? I saw on a documentary once and they said that you only where able to walk on the roads becouse the dirt and grass etc is still radioactive.

  • Radioactive but not deadly radioactive and that's the deifference.Level of radiation on roads is smaller than on the grass in Pripyat, but the difference is not to big to cause any effect on my health. But it is impossible to be in Pripyat and walk only on the roads without touching grass and plants-believe me:)

  • Oh ok. How does it smell there? Must be a different smell where there is no cars and stuff. And what Ive seen on photos of Chernobyl, the nature is taking over everthing, seems kinda scary :)

  • I don't remember if the smell was any different. You mean rather Pripyat not Chernobyl (in which many people lives and there are two groceries)-especially in the spring and summer when I was there, nature is taking over which is as beautiful as scary

  • Please Lukasszo, how did you get there?

  • You have to get permission, pay some money, find some people who would like to go there with you (then you pay less amount of money) and you can go :)

  • where can I get the tickets because I might end up going there

  • There aren't any tickets (it would be rather shameful to sell tickets to such places). You pay only for guide and for obtainig permission. You have to call to Chernobyl Inter Inform

  • Not the whole town is abandon, some people still stay there in the area :P

awesome vid tho, makes me thinging :P

  • No one lives there permanently but yes, there are some people who work there but they seem to be, for the visitors of this town, almost invisible:)

  • Yeah, mostly militairy is patroling arround :P

I dont think the radiation level is that high anymore (in some places) to be letal...

  • if it's abbondened you can do whatever you like right..it's like you own the whole place...awesome but it's destroyed and lonely so nahhh

  • i agree! But what is it?Did you go in there? Its like brand new!

  • It's a water pump, we have those where I live.

I think that's for the perimeter guards,i have no better idea

  • I couldn't go inside because it was locked

  • Does someone live there?I think its creepy to live in pripyat!Strange!

  • The whole city is completely abandoned.

  • @Lukasszo camrade you are wasting your time talking to the amerikans they think pripyat is a holly wood film set or some part of disneyworld a place to play pantball and make video games now i know why god put amerika so far away over the pacific and atlantic oceons to save us from there way of thinking

  • @kinpurnie1001

    I agree.

  • @kinpurnie1001 Why do you spell it with a k?

  • what is that ??

  • Zgadzam sie z BRIANxdrift że to maszyna pomiarowa

  • Nie no nieźle. Ciekawe co to może być. Załoze się ze Ruscy znowu coś kombinują :/

  • Maszyna pomiarowa (promieniowanie it[)

  • im scary what is this ;o

  • You're scary?

  • Forgive him his lack of english language skills:)
