I understand cuz i tried myself...and quited :P There are just too many of enemies and plus their health bar must be 500! Seriously they are too powerful and it feels like you are in a boss fight! Gosh it's hard, but good luck with your speedrun, you are gonna need it! :)

good observation -> only 2 shells currently -> time taken to get out and switch back is not worth it.

Those gorillas are bastards mainly because they chase you everywhere ya go. i suggest using a more powerful weapon like shotgun or uzis.
