  • Ah yes, because a little saw like that is going to cut throught thick chians of a chandelier! lol

  • There's a lot of good things about this film, but I really think they ladle on the humor relief to liberally. It waters the tension down too much.

  • way to use a tiny-ass saw on a thick-ass chain XD -50 minutes later- *almost there....*

  • At 5:58, Behold she is singing to bring down the chandelier!

  • Love the Tchaikovsky symphony used !

  • I would have: Ok sucker but I gotta warn you I'm not that great in bed. :p

  • He feels so like a pedophile when he talks like that to her...xD

  • wouldnt you think somebody would hear a saw against a chain ? even with people singing ?

  • I love how Erik calls her "little one".

  • Little known fact: Erique was origionally supposed to be revealed to as Christine's Father in a sequel that was cancelled.

  • The most climatic chandelier scene. Very well done

  • hahhahahahhaha, i looked at the massive chains at 3:30 and i was like: 'how on earth is he going to break that?' and the he comes with this tiny little saw XD

  • Thank you so much for posting this. I have looked almost everywhere. Hopefully it stays up on youtube.

  • love the part 1:34-1:44

  • I love Nelson Eddy's singing in this! :D He was so handsome too! :)

  • He is so sketchy in this scene. But I still can't help but feel so bad for the poor guy. :(

  • I actually think the Phantom is quite creepy in this part of the movie.. The way he talks calmly to Chirstine about how he kills for her.

    Chills! xD

    It's awesome though.

  • The music from the opera here is taken from Tchaikovsky's fourth symphony, interestingly enough.

  • and they reused the same set from the 1925 version of this and the hunch-back of noltredam both of which star lawn chaney

  • I remember being terrified of this when I was little. lol!! :p

  • @JediXManSerenaKenobi Me too. I was like 5 or 6 when I first saw this

  • I remember watching this part of the movie when I was 5 or 6. I knew it wasn't the Lon Chaney version, but I had a feeling it was Phantom related.
