I don't know where the original poster got it, but I've got this on vhs tape on my porch. If I can get all the equipment together I'll put up as much of the concert as survived.
Now back to the question: This was from a special called "I'll Fly Away" a Gospel Celebration. Leon Patillo, Mighty Clouds, Bill Gaither Trio were among the singers. Al Green was the host, Cynthia Clawson was a featured singer (who sang a very moving song called "Ruby") (not K-Rogers version :)
This was a PBS special and Al Green was the host. It had Leon Patillo, Mighty Clouds, Bill Gaither Trio, Cynthia Clawson and some others. circa 1985 or 86 as far as I remember. I do have most of it on a very mediocre vhs tape that ws subbed from beta and ubbed from on air from PBS. I'd love to find it, but I don't think it exists
Interesting, I have this on tape. I don't have all of it, but a lot of it. It was on PBS in the 80's, I recorded it on Beta and then re-dubbed to VHS. i.e. the quality is not real good. I wonder where you found this. I have yet to find on DVD or VHS.
Greetings, I just happened upon this. Where/how did you get this clip? I'm an Al Green fan so.... Did he just do the finale or did he do the complete concert? Thanks for whatever info you give.

Al Green has an anoited voice from God, and he is def blessed...it is a pleasure to see Al giving God the glory He deserves!
...on another note I'm not sure about the flower tossing at the end??? But I guess, only Al can pull that off :-)
