Sonic got an annoying, hard game with a dissapointing final boss. Sure, it was an OK game, but it still wasn't that great.

Mario got a hugely-selling game with many climaxes and credit where it's due, along with the best final boss EVER!

@zzyzx0788 the game is meant to be played on a much smaller screen, dense pixel rate, and 3D! who cares about what you think is "good graphics" .. ill admit, there has been some sketchy mario titles, but, since the galaxy's, the level design in these games are so unique and genuine. mario 3d is a testament to just that.

I really wanted this game a month ago, but then I thought about it and then I realized I didn't want it because all you're doing is saving a weak princess. I'm not a big Peach fan and I think I'm going to get Mario Kart 7, WWE All Stars, Sonic Generations and Luigi's Mansion. New Super Mario Bros Wii was so easy. And I don't want to spend my time saving a princess who always relies on Mario. I have other important things to spend my money on, and I'm not saying that it's a waste of money. Okay?
