She had an IQ of 163, spoke 5 different languages, and played various instruments. She was far more than just "fairly" intelligent. A genius, she was.

You can tell that actually, she was a fairly Intelligent woman and that the dumb blonde act was just that, an act. That's the great mystery about Jayne, one isn't always sure where the act ends and the real woman begins. I do think that she made some poor career choices, she acted in some pretty poor films.

this is wonderful. I am from The Netherlands and I just love watching this footage. Wim Sonneveld, the interviewer did have a dashing style and certainly was ahead of his time: remember these were the late Fifties! Back then, in my opinion, The Netherlands were still in the Middle Ages when it came to entertainment and broadening horizons culturally. Furthermore I think Jayne Mansfield is just gorgeous, well-mannered and adorable!

It always made me laugh during some of her interviews, that many thought she was stupid. She was smart, spoke five languages and extremely ambitious and she stood out for being ahead of her time.She really could have been more and I am just glad as any alike that she is still remembered today.

Wow. Jayne Mansfield was very intelligent, and well-spoken, in addition to being sexy and beautiful. She was all that. So tragic she died so horribly and so young. :(
