Most states do have laws mandating liability insurance to protect other motorist in case of a collision thats your fault. NO state mandates that you carry full coverage to pay for your own car, its your property. The state has no right to mandate such a law. I believe that your body is your property and you have the right to ins yourself or take the chance that you wont get hurt and not get insurance. Your insurance decision doesn't affect someone else's life, only your own
