I say burn the book. It's a BOOK, people. The ideas and words are what is important, not the physical book itself. And, frankly, there are ideas and words within the book are ridiculous and should be ignored. There is beauty in the Quran, yes. There are some wonderful ideas, yes. But there are also some ridiculous ideas and statements.

Nothing is going to happen to me for saying what I said, unless some fanatical idiot (which fortunately are in the MINORITY) decides he wants to take some sort of revenge on me. I feel that I made a very fair statement about the Quran. It's not a perfect book. Islam is not a perfect religion. There is good and there is bad. Pretty straightforward.

@chearn73 Who am I posting threats here... You took me wrong. I am referring to the permanent and long life after this Temporary life, which is a major and very important concept in Islam. We can say this Good & Bad statement about anything, but NEVER to Allah. Most Muslims & Non-muslims here do not know what is True Islam. Many Muslims have adopted things which does not exist in Islam and Islam is against those.

@Tarib21 It may be an important concept in Islam...but I am not Muslim. That is your belief system. I have my own. Both are perfectly acceptable. And I disagree about there being good and bad parts to the Quran or a religion. Nothing is perfect. There are some things I have heard or read in the Quran or from Muhammed that I really liked....and others that I did not. And, the thing about religion is that it isn't set in stone. All religion is open to interpretation.

@chearn73 It's just about good and unbiased research. Many Non-muslims are embracing Islam these days. No one, especially Christians, will want to go from Peace and Good to Terror or Bad without any reason. Those who'll find it succeed and those who don't will fail. The real Good or Bad will happen in the Long life, not in this temporary life.
