The 737-700 is my favorite plane, so in my opinion, a 73G, 738, or 739 would be more exciting than a 744. The 744 has chubby winglets, and the blended winglets on the 737NGs are cooler-looking and more efficient
you're not supposed to have the video camera on during landing not because it can crash the plane but because it can become a projectile during a crash. great vid but pretty irresponsible...
A book is heavier and more dangerous. I've never heard an announcement regarding books. Also, the seatback in front would catch it. No problem--I doubt the plane could stop fast enough for it to be a projectile.
The announcement is for electronic devices because they can supposedly interfere with the equipment on the aircraft.
Can we meet. I always like to get to know soeone personally who feels the need to scold someone for doing something that in a one in a million scenario may cause injury. Even though one could easily argue that if one was in a plane crash a flying camera is more than likely one of the last things they would worry about causing injury to them. I look forward to your reply where you tell me this is serious and you were just trying to warn this person.

I wish southwest operated the -800 instead of the -700 because the -800 is the most popular of all the 737NG's.
Plus, the -800 isn't so chubby since it's 20 feet longer than the 737-700
