Just replaced my '96 850 tailgate shocks that I bought from iPD. Works great, better than the 1 x 2 that held it up for the past couple of years. Also gave me an excuse to tighten up a few things in the tailgate as well which yielded a quiet dividend..

Only note: the force needed to pry the ball from it's socket is greater than I thought. I needed a 12-15" pry bar to get enough leverage, used with caution, of course.

1995 Volvo 850 base

I did not buy my tailgate shocks from IPD. Mine were too long and had to adjust the front most mount with two 12mm bolts in it to make it fit.
