A very touching tribute with very appropriate music. I was only 6 when it happened and I can only remember seeing the dust pouring through a street on TV. RIP to all those who died a decade ago today.
I like to read comments about the youtube videos that I like and I find it completely rude that some of you made the comments that you did. I for one, did not feel like the video was related to the holocaust but the entire time I was thinking about how well the music fit. If you don't like it, why haven't you made a video.
Also, if you are doing something you wouldn't tell your grandma about, don't tell everyone on youtube. We don't need to hear it. I thought the movie was beautiful.
I was in my parents apartment back in Germany. It was night time and I was on the floor drawing a picture and my parents and my sister were on the couch. It was on every channel. I was 7 at the time so I didn't completely understand what was going on.
i was in school ... 10th grade ... thought at the time it was just an empire state building type of ordeal ... then they brought us to the auditorium which had a few tv's on ... unreal ... went home early and saw every channel on tv (even mtv) had full-time coverage ... crazy, unreal day
I was in my house in Utah, and my dad was yelling 'no!' at the top of his lungs because the tower went down. I was seven or eight at the time, but we sang the national anthem in the mornings in our school for the rest of the year after it happened. Crying right now.
Thanks for the complement. It surprises me that people are still commenting on this video 2 1/2 years after I posted it. Who knows, maybe i'll remake the video one of these days if I can get better source pictures. See if I can do a better job when i'm not rushed for time.
I was at an appointment with one of my young children. My appointment was at 8 am central time. The nurses were whispering about it. I asked what was going on. They said that "all of New York and Washington DC was on fire." Well, obviously they were wrong...but it was bad enough. I then went to work at a day care center and couldn't watch what was going on until I got home at 1 or so that afternoon. The owners of the center kept giving us updates though.
I was at school just like everyone else seemed to be. We didnt know what had happened really ... Later that day a friend of the family contacted us and told us to look at the news paper the next day. He was the one who had to compile each picture of each assasin-terrorist-dog-worthless excuse for a human life... I am so proud of him... he took a huge roll in making sure these people paid for what they did. He is my hero. This video has been a blessing to watch
i was driving by and i heard a huge jet i thought it was nothing then KABOOM a pume of dust came from the otherside of 1 of the towers i stopped stared amazed astonished with a ton of crap in my pants osama and bush together make satan
I was in my 4th grade class in Hershey PA. My dad actually walked down to my class room and told me to get my things. We went and picked up my older sister from the high school. They told the high school students about it and turned on their TVs, but not at the elementary school. Looking back, I don't think it would have done any good to have turned them on.
I was just waking up one morning like I usually would for a normal-day middle-school & I go downstairs & saw something happened in NYC on my mom's small tv, My first thought literally was "Oh I hope the twin-towers didn't collapse & than I asked my mom & that very nightmare came true
i was at school when the towers fell and while the teachers and students were ah struck the principal was trying to play it off as a flight error and every thing was going to be all right. but as soon as the second plane fell no one cared wat he was saying we all knew what happened.
I was driving my ruck when I heard about the Plane crashes on the radio and I was thinking, Man this is the Greatest False Flag Operation that The CIA and MOSSAD has ever collaborated on.
The Banks, and the Military/industrial Complex will Rake in Billions on this Hoax & Constitutional Right will be diminished,... and as it turned out, I was Right.

What a complete mockery! This is terrible. Why in the world would anyone compare 9/11 to the Holocaust ... No matter what anyone says, using music from Schindler's List is doing exactly that. What a disgrace!!! Why not use Alan Jackson or Toby Keith, since they so reightously love this country so much to make money off these attacks! Disgrace. What a terrible idea. Why not use the Enya radio montage that filled the airwaves for weeks after. SHAMEFUL.
I used "Theme from Schindler's List because of his poinent and haunting melody, not because I was trying to compare the two incidents. Though, why would it be such a mockery or disgrace to use it? Why is it shameful? This music does not PROMOTE or ENDORSE the Holocaust, far from it.
But as I said, it's your opinion and your free to express it. Though it does make me wonder why anyone shares anything heartfelt on the internet anymore...
@Zilla2251 I'm sorry, but what? A holocaust is destruction by fire. Isn't a piece composed by John Williams used in Schindler's List (a film about the Jewish holocaust) a proper fit for a video about the 9/11 attacks? Oh and you recommend a country song? The fuck is wrong with you?
Very true. I just didn't have good source pictures for the pentagon attack and was already having more then enough trouble mastering the video program. If i ever find myself remaking the video i'll be sure to put that in.
There were some individuals that had cameras in the towers that day. Some of the shots I used were very expressive of that fact. The most famous of the pictures inside the tower is the one of the fireman running up the stairs while everyone is being evacuated.
Most of the pictures I have come from the various 9-11 commemorative books and have full explanations of the pictures.
