@Yannis390 The 2 main ways to get wireless are a USB or PCI wireless adaptor. After Windows detects the new adaptor, run the CD that should come with it to install the drivers and reboot. You should then find that wireless has been enabled when you right-click on the wireless icon.

Apparently after reformatting my computer, my computer lost it's wireless capabilities that it has had for 6+ years.

I don't know if it helps you, but I asked my computer friend. He told me I have to install the drivers for it since the original disc it came with included it but since I lost the disc, I have to manually find/install the drivers. Thats how my computer friend got it to work but due to certain circumstances, I had to reformat it again. I haven't gotten my wireless working yet since im too computer noob to do it so ill let him do it for me again, its worth a try for you if you want too.

@xxpowerxx1qz Yeah i actually looked for the drivers in my instillation cd (the one that came with my router), and just installed those. The reason i had to remove my router software was because the monitor kept getting random errors and losing the signal. I managed to reinstall the drivers and it kicked in the wirelezz zero config in my system too :). (wireless zero is how windows is able to configure your connection to your router, incase you're wondering) Thanks for the input!

if you cant see the network connection places in your deskstop or in start button.. just go in start>run>(type)ncpa.cpl..

Right-click the wirless icon and left-click enable. If there is no icon than at that moment you do not have wireless capabilities on your computer.
