@justareallycoolguy i agree but i guess they vary differently from touch and cannot really fit into what touch is. Think of a square and a rectangle. A square is a rectangle but the rectangle isnt a square. The square has 4 congruent sides but the rectangle has 2 pairs of congruent sides;therefore, temperature and pain have characteristics of touch but touch doesnt have enough characteristics to be branched into pain and temperature. I hope this assists your needs. cheers

Like snakes. They don't hear they feel vibrations. Temperature perception (how lame) 8.Equilibrioception and 9. Proprioception consisting of a sense for position, movement and force. Also to be looked up in your nearby physiology book. ;) (I could do the auditory pathway, too, but that's too much. XD)

very nice video but the fact about the 4 more senses are actually parts of other senses. pain is a part of the sense of touch. temperature is also a part of the sense of touch. while balance and proprioception are parts of the sense of hearing.

@ahlakit well actually the prorpioception is a part of the nerve system and it is at our feet. being able to find our nose isn't proprioception, but to be able to make a 3d concept of the space you are in with your eyes closed.
